Women Spend $370 a Year on Shoes?

Neither of these answers fit me. Ehm--I spend 60 USD max on shoes a year. That's two pairs for me. Tennis shoes and a pair of nice sandals. My boots will, hopefully, last for many years to come.

I spend literally $50 on shoes. I like/prefer those little cheap converse ones. I really can care less about shoes.

Converse, flip-flops, sandals and 2 pairs of Nike trainers. And 2 more shoes for special ocassions. NO heels. Seriously people, you go shopping when you're depressed and then you wonder why you don't have any money. Same thing with getting fat and ice-cream.

i get one pair(sometimes 2) of tennis shoes each year at the beginning of each school year, I dont get new shoes until the new school year or unless i mess up my shoes somehow. Of course i get flip flops(sandals) during the summer, boots during the winter, etc. I think the most i ever spent on a pair of shoes was like around $150.

I spend decent money on supportive every day shoes, and I believe it's one of the best investments you can make in terms of wardrobe. Achy feet affect your whole mood, and shoes that don't support your feet can cause bad posture and back problems. The best investment last year was a pair of Teva's with a protective toe and actual arch support. They got me through all the climbing and walking we did last summer plus day to day wear in a climate where it's warm enough to wear them 8 months out of the year. But they get worn out and I should buy another pair this year. The same with a pair of winter shoes, and a pair of exercise shoes. And a really good supportive pair of pumps for work -- stylish but wearable for a whole day of a seminar or meetings. These last longer because I wear them less, so I probably only get one new pair of those a year. For trendier stuff like heels for going out or flip flops, I spend very little. THey don't hold up well and they go out of style too fast to waste much money.

Probably. I don't intend to buy so many but somehow I ended up with LOTS of shoes.

Oh my goodness, are you serious. I love shoes, and I buy them no matter how much they are. $370 per year on shoes, please I spend that in just a couple of months on my shoes. And seven pairs per year. You should see my closet..

I think I've spent $10 on shoes this year.

I really enjoy shoes. I like to find styles I like and I buy a pair in different colors. I do not believe shoes are an item that you go cheap. You should always pamper your feet.

Heck no! I only have 1 pair of shoes and they last me a year! And they're usually only 30$

I bought a pair of Tims about 4 years ago for work and a pair of clogs .
The Tims. I got on sale for 80.00 and the Clogs I bought for a hundred, that was my last purchase on shoes....

Well, my I buy DC's so it's like 70 for those, and then a pair of slip-ons from american eagle so that's like 15, and then flipflops for summer....deffinetly not. it i had 350 dollars, i would save 200 more and buy a kickass laptop.

no. im so cheap. i bum shoes that my sister and cuz never wore. i buy chucks, athletic shoes and heels every so and so but at the max 75-100$ a yr.

Unfortunately I have to have custom made one so I can even walk, With out Insurance it would have costed me about 4000.00 dollars

Now I don't buy shoes often. However my customers do. I work for an upscale comfort shoe company. Our customer usually spends $300 that one day on shoes let alone in one year.

I'd spend it elsewhere...too many things I need other than shoes.... :-(

Haha but really I probably spend about 150, depending on if I need new running shoes or spikes or cleats. I don't buy expensive fashionable shoes.

I think its ridiculous for ME, but for other people it's very likely.

If i had that kind of money I would buy 2 good pairs of shoes that are extremely comfortable. One pair for working out, another for going out... that would be it! But for the past 6 years, I can not even afford a pair of comfortable work out shoes... they all hurt, badly.

I spend $35 on my marching shoes, I have one pair of heels for band concerts,a pair of flip flops, a pair of boots, and a couple pair of shoes for school. One for marching season and the other for after marching season. I have six pairs of shoes and the most expensive ones are my marching shoes.

EASILY if I had gift cards! Never that much of my own cold hard cash! I just spend about $200 on two pairs of summer shoes. I'll give them a run for their money before I buy more.
