Come on people get your heads out of the sand? Electing Romney would be like the Titanic magically sinking and sprouting floatation devices and cruising into port. The problem is that this so called hardship had already begone be for Obama stepped into office. Romney give me a break Hahahahaha

It would be far more like the landing of Curiosity on the surface of Mars. Every step of the way the Republican/Tea Party has tried to stop President Obama's progress the economy continues to progress in spite of their efforts to kill the middle class and small businesses.

    That's GREAT!
Now, tell one about a Priest, a Rabbi and an Irishman!

If your claim was anything but a joke:
Let's see the budget the Democrats passed while they held a Super-Majority for the first 2 years of Obama's reign.

    Great analogy.

It would be more like the Titanic magically sprouting floatation devices and cruising into port. Of course it would have to avoid the other icebergs that are the GOP congressmen.

Pretty much, but in the meantime he'd be taking up a collection, claiming he could 'plug the hole' if he just had more dollars.

No you're thinking of Electing Romney. That would be like the Bush Administration hitting an iceberg and surviving... and then hitting a bigger iceberg 20 miles later.

Read the Budget Control Act of 2011 and tell us what it says. You should know all about it. It came out of your Republican House.

It would be nice if you brought some knowledge to the party. A formal budget cannot be passed because of The Budget Control Act of 2011, but of course, Conservatives here have no idea what that even is.

The actual appropriations for Fiscal Year 2012 were enacted as three appropriations bills in November and December 2011, which is in accordance with the United States budget process and law. They are:

    Continuing Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-55)
    Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-74)
Disaster Relief Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-77)

These 3 Appropriation Bills passed satisfy Federal Law in place of a formal budget.

I realize these words are much too long and complicated for the Conservatives on here to understand, so unless they actually see the word "buhh-jit" on something they're going to claim one hasn't been passed.

So the point is the federal government no longer needs to produce a budget

No the point is its already has passed much more than a normal budget resolution. I think you should understand what you're posting about before you post. I'll try to make it simple for you:

They passed The Budget Control Act in 2011 which is much stronger than any normal budget resolution and included binding budgets for both 2012 and 2013 budget (instead of the usual 1 year non-binding resolution) as well as providing major cuts and limits on discretionary spending through 2021 (also instead of the traditional 1 year) that alone cuts about 900 Billion over the next 10 years.
