AR had five homes she had to "work" at. That's really a lot of work. Poor thing had to drive a Cadillac. She had to hire all that help which is a lot of work, too. I'm so tired of the filthy rich saying "i feel your pain."

I don't know how many but I do know that however many the Romneys "PAY FOR THEM OUT OF THEIR POCKET" unlike Michelle who is served by twenty-six attendants, including a hair dresser and make-up artist.

The annual cost to taxpayers for such unprecedented attention is approximately $1,750,000 without taking into account the expense of the lavish benefit packages afforded to every attendant.

This is more "servants" than any first lady ever.

Of course you do, but I have done domestic work before doing professional office work, and let me tell you rich people are so insensitive, the hired help actually does the parental guidance thing. I wouldn't expect for you to know anything about domestic work, and I have a very strong feeling that Mrs. Romney had a lot of head domestic workers doing things that you feel she had hands on. Right! Don't get me wrong, I believe that they are both loving parents, but the hands on stuff came from their hired help.
  • sunniday Max7 2012/04/17 05:38:47

I have also done as you call it domestic work, for very wealthy people & I did not fine them to be insensitive, the only thing I did see was manners & what others thought was VERY important they did not want to do anything anyone could say was wrong,Everything should look perfect even if not.

You obviously are not of an ethnic background, and that was not manners that you witnessed, that Yes sir, yes Mam stuff makes them feel superior. However, I cannot comment on what you experienced, I only know what I and many other Blacks experienced.

Ah so you are saying it was different for Michael Vick and the way he may have interacted with the dog handlers?
  • Max7 littleb... 2012/04/19 03:54:02
    Max7
Quite, Michael Vicks wealth was just a drop in the bucket compared to Mitt Romney and his wife. Wealthy Black people have a tendency to still want to discipline and care for their children rather than having a nanny to raise them. Michael Vick couldn't hold a candle to Mitt Romney, I think you're grasping for straws.

Well....I cannot comment on the comparison between races. What I do know is that I grewup knowing caucasion families of vast wealth and virtually all of them raised their children hands on! Even to the point of having their own local school district which still today is considered one of the best in the country! I saw for myself these wealthy parents interacting on an almost daily basis with thier childrens teachers and there ware many with help cleaning and maintaining the home but the parents raised the children.

As the demographics changed wealthy Blacks, Asians, Arabs, Indians...etc....moved into the neighborhood and no-one was barred from the Country Club. Oh and the neighborhood always had a significant number of wealthy Hispanics as they are the ones who had ranchos here before and vastly increased their wealth by developing the area.

Maybe I am somehow being more open minded and not assuming that from a bad personal experience or two that all wealthy people no matter what race care and love their children and do so in a very hands on fashion. Lol....this is not Victorian England it is the United States!
