Obama's victory explains the dumbed down youth and adults as well in America doesn't it?

An Informed Electorate? You Won’t Believe How Little These Young Voters Know About Our Gov’t

A three block line weaved through a quaint neighborhood in South
End of Boston, each person waiting to cast their vote at the polling
place inside the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology. This is an
austere, historic and heavily liberal section of Boston (generously
assuming there are some non-liberal parts of Boston). Signs
for Elizabeth Warren and buttons proudly proclaiming “Students for
Obama” were in abundance.

This reporter called on some of those in line, asking some simple
questions concerning why they showed up today to perform their civic
duty. So what were the issues that animated them in the campaign?
Their answers were largely couched in generalities, warm pockets of
feel-good social “rights” issues.

“Women’s rights”, “gay marriage”, “planned parenthood”, “social
welfare” rang out time and time again. The economic issues Mitt Romney
hammered on were nowhere to be found — these voters were participating
in an alternate election, one based on the social issues hand-crafted by
team Obama. Without any specifics, but in full faith, these young
voters stood, ready to cast their sacred ballots for the incumbent.

To any conservative wondering where they went astray this cycle,
observe the religious-like conviction of the voters here when rattling
off their liberal talking points. However, beyond the rhetoric, how much
do these eager voters know about our American government? Just a few
questions, then: How many Senators are there? How many Congressmen?
Supreme Court Justices? Who is Nancy Pelosi? Harry Reid? Can you name
an amendment to the Constitution?

Just in case you need the answers to the questions, here they are:

Number of Congressmen: 435

Number of Senators: 100

Number of Justices on the Supreme Court: 9

Nancy Pelosi: Minority Leader of the House

Harry Reid: Majority Leader in the Senate

We can blame the youth and young adults or we can realize where they became so [non] educated in their beliefs. It started at home my friends. Many of their parents have given them a reason to believe that they are entitled - maybe because they have been given everything and have NOT been made to work/earn their way. Or they were born into that way of living and refuse to better themselves.

Wait'll these Doofi try to get a job; they'll have to duke it out with illegals to get that chump change spot at McDonalds and they'll never get out of mom's and dad's basement.

hmm,, I think we are a product of our enviorment..

home, neighborhood, family ( or lack of family ) , schools , friends.

and I also think, that the welfare class of people are growing and growing , as is the $$ cost of paying for the entitled class ..

there are makers , that go to work to pay for goods and services..

    and then

there are TAKERS, that stay home while the makers go to work and pay for the TAKERS..

Yes. We are a product of out environment, and unfortunately, I think that means exactly what I posted above - many young people think they are entitled to TAKE - instead of WORK and MAKE their own way (✿◠‿◠)

This nightmare is far from being over - think about it, the next DEM that decides to run will probably receive the same support and followers as O did. Therefore, we may never get out from under the TAKERS.
