Sadly, McCain has become a casualty of this (political) war.

He is as fake as Sarah Palin! No wonder he chose her as his running mate! If he needs a popsicle, all he has to do is ask for it. Just stick it in his mouth and shut up!

He's a bitter old, senile man who is still mad because he lost the election to a black man. He needs to shut his mouth and retire.

Typical Republican. He can't stand to lose an election, especially his own shellacking four years ago and has turned into a bitter, vindictive little man who has degenerated any respect he once held so much of. Go figure.

As a member of the opposing side it is McCain's job to find out what really happened.

Well then, just maybe he should have gone to his own committee meeting where answers were given instead of holding a press conference at the exact same time calling for "answers".

John Kerry, Carl Levin, Kennedy, Durbin, Finestein. All would make good presidents.

I don't believe any of them you name here are even being considered for a nano-second. If you are serious in projecting the "maybes', I would put Hillary at the top of the list, but to be frank, I don't think any of us on the Left (me anyway), are even giving '16 much of a thought right now.

His job is to find out what the heck the Republicans are doing in Congress, doing nothing to help the economy and create jobs!

No there is sappose to be a balance of power. It keeps one party from totally taking over and passing things that are not good for our country. If Romney would have won we would be happy for that balance. I know I would.

Beccy, you know I like you. In the interests of fairness, McCain could have gotten the answers he was calling for IF he had attended that meeting. Instead, he chose to grandstand in front of the TV cameras. By doing so his calls for answers were downright disingenuous.

As far as balance of power is concerned. The House is still in Republican hands so there is a balance of power. I just hope this time around they will focus on ALL "The People's" business instead of focusing on my, my daughter & grand-daughter's "womenly innards." We are much more than our uterus!

Well, you talk for yourself, but don't talk for me because I don't know whats make you happy, but I know what makes me happy and Mitt Romney won't have fill that space.

No we keep the same two vile parties in power. Other countries have more then two. We need a leader who can unite

We have a leader who can unite! We just need leaders like Republicans who put people first before power and Corporates!

For sure and we saw that in the weeks leading up to, and the night of the election. I channel surfed to Fox and they were adamant that Romney would win and they had convinced their viewers that their polling was spot-on. The egg on Rove's face was breathtaking. lol

McCain has a major problem. In his attempt to pick up the old monicker of an independent thinker within the Republican Party, he is attempting to become relevant. His latest attempts to fill that "power void" is just plain a failure.

He is really trying to bolster his position before his reelection campaign in 2014, an election he will LOSE.
