I only celebrate the Feasts and Holidays given by God to His people, with their fulfillment in and through the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). I do not celebrate holidays with Pagan roots since they are not commanded by God. Yeshua was Jewish not a Gentile... he celebrated Jewish Feasts and Holidays....

Well, yes. I celebrate the old one that happens on the vernal equinox. That's the one with the bunnies, the eggs, the flowers and bees and the re-awakening of life in the spring - Ostara or Easter. It has most of the elements of the Christian, "Easter"' but it's a whole lot older and I don't have to go through 2 months of rehearsals, what choir members refer to as "holy-hell week" with all the extra music and masses and vigils to sing and then a huge production on Sunday morning after a late night of music the night before for a bunch of people who only show up on Easter Sunday and Christmas eve while thinking they are Christians. Ahem. 40 years of that was quite enough thankyou. At the same time I did that I was a practicing Wiccan and at this point in my life that's where I want to spend my energy. The Holy Spirit was always where the musicians are but the other junk in Christianity - I just got so tired of hearing people give love lip service with no follow-through. I used to joke that I could make too many of them turn their backs on everything Jesus ever taught with just two little words. "I'm gay". Even though the Episcopal church has ordained Gay and Lesbian Priests for almost 40 years they still fight over whether or not to bless us as couples. Meh. Who needs it? The univeral love is/was/will be in every corner of the Universe especially the Green part of it I'm fortunate enough to be experiencing while alive. Don't waste a second of joy.

Jesus said "it is finished" and I believe him, no need to keep putting him back on the cross every year he did it right the first time.

I am a Buddhist. However, this year, 2012, my Jōdo Shinshū sect's celebration of "Hanamatsuri," the flower festival for the Historical Buddha's birthday, falls on Sunday, April 8th, the same as Christian Easter. Please see:

As a child , not knowing any better , it was fun .

Easter comes from Ishtar , a pagan spring fertility festival , where they would roll eggs in the forest while having orgies , popping & swapping couples like rabbits .

The holiday (Holy Day) , is called Resurrection Sunday ,... now we're talking something Christian .

Yes I do, it isn't a Holiday its a Holy Day, only the greed from certain elements in our society would prefer it to be a Holiday.
