Do you subscribe to cable television?

You!

I just cut ours off today. The Broncos lost their playoff game and Sons of Anarchy ended in December, so we won't be watching anything on cable until pre-season starts in August. Didn't see paying $70 a month for something we're not going to use.

No. To much reality, advertising, and reruns. Television is suppose to be entertainment, but the cable operators sock people with to much ads and cable operators love it because they are the one's making big bucks from the adveritsing and decide how much advertising they show. The more they show the more money is in it for them. The subscribers are the lowest on the totem pole. Cable operators edit program times, meaning cutting them down so they can show more advertisment and make more bucks for themselves. It all greed. Comcast is one of them. In fact they ripped off subscribers and then they bought MSNBC.

I watch and i want my AMC that is one of the only stations worth watching it has my series the walking dead on it and alot of action movies that i watch on there if you remove it from cable one i well do without tv because it wouldn't be worth paying cable if i cant watch what i want to watch on the tv i don't like the reality crap and that crap is taking over what we watch as it is you guys need to pay attrition to your customers because we know what we want to watch

Cable operators do not care what they have us watch. They only want to show advertisments as that is where they get their big dollars from. Subsribers have not say. It's sad because subscribers pay to view. I don't have cable and never will because it's a big rip off.

Gee, just think what I could buy for $140.00 per month instead of paying a big greedy cable giant. I could buy a decent pair of shoes and get more use from them than I can from cable. $140.00 per month is a little over $1600.00 per year. I could buy a nice dining room set with that money. No, you can keep giving and giving to the cable giants and they will keep sucking and sucking you dry. They take your money laughing at you.

i watch netflix and if there is a series i really want to watch, I'll buy it on iTunes. Paying for cable is such a waste. I cut cable over a year ago. Don't miss it.

Nope. When the fiancee and I want to watch something, we use Netflix.

I miss college football, though. I can catch some games on the net... but not all.

We cut our TV about two years ago. I do not miss anything, though I thought I would. I am saving almost $72 per month and I am not bombarded by commercials for stuff I don't need.

We do have Netflicks ($8 per month). There is new stuff all the time. Terrific documentaries. Great kid's programing. Full series without commercials.
    It is FANTASTIC.

I just started using Netflix. I have to say I was highly impressed that there is no advertising. Now that is something everyone should be able to have which is no advertising. We don't pay for programming to have advertising. You made a smart move Daring. I tried HuluPlus and they stick you with advertising and the programming is horrible. Hulu used to be good, but now it's like they have turned into a cable giant with advertising and some of the advertising I frown upon.

My wife got me a DVR about six years ago. I thought it was the greatest invention EVER! Then I discovered Netflix! The DVR is gone. What a lot of hassle that was! LOL!
