F.E.A.R. in my opinion, because that game is cruel in so many ways, played through it a couple of times, and I experienced new scared I hadn't seen in the first game, it just got me.
I haven't played resident evil 4 or silent hill 2, but I've heard those are some pretty freaky games as well.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent... This game is... Aughh... The atmosphere is chilling, the score left me in cold sweats, the gameplay is absolutely frightening... And the story is downright disturbing when you get down to it... This game is focused on immersion, and it left me completely petrified and asking for more.

Those are good but I prefer the suspenseful stuff! :P Real heart wrenching pleasure. I really don't like voting the best of anything as that generally everything can be good in some light.

Slender is good for a cheap fright in the beginning. After one or two games, your deaths and the gameplay itself become less frightening and more annoying, in my opinion.

Watch Dogs, because it is pretty much true, and each and every one of us is affected by it.

I think it's good showmanship and all, but I also think it's jacked up how they scanned the crowd after that speech.

Right... Because the government has definitely already produced the technology to read people's minds and tell what they're thinking.

Through psychology yes. If you know what kinds of things people like and don't like and by how much, what comments they make, and other pieces of information that people give away to anyone who has a reason to listen, then you know how people think and react to input. With that they can filter certain media that goes to their computer/phone or whatever to change the information input, thus changing the feedback and in essence controlling their minds.

Not sure! I'm no good at scary games, but I really wish I had the cojones to play Amnesia! Looks awesome.

Bro, I don't have the "cojones" to play it either... But guess what game I'm halfway through? Even if you aren't a fan of "scary" games, you have to play it. Seriously. Like, now.

  • Zeke479... nenad.b... 2012/10/24 06:44:53

... and resident evil 4. I really hated it when some psycho with chainsaw was chasing me along with some other creeps. ~.~'

    Dead Space 2
Actually, I was really creeped out by this game the first two episodes

    Alan Wake

But this one I was scared for myself the whole game:

    Resident evil 4 gamecube

And Dead Space 2 is one of the scariest openings of a game ever:

  • Jerry DemonChild 2012/08/18 04:58:47
Resident evil 4 ain't really scary, just don't let the chain saw guy get too close to you.
  • ann DemonChild 2012/08/18 21:09:30
Omg, I NEED to play Dead Space 2... lmao

I'd have to say Amesia: The Dark Descent simply because you are actually vulneruble in it; not some potential badass who can chop up any monster he sees (*cough* *cough* Dead Space 2 *cough*).

I find it hilarious, personally, that I LOVE SCARY MOVIES the scarier the better, and I'm never afraid and never have nightmares because of them. BUT, for the life of me I can't play scary video/computer games. I tried playing Slender Man, toooo scary. Amnesia, even worse.
  • ann rereblue 2012/08/18 21:07:49
I didnt find Slender to be to scary :p but there were a couple times where it made me jump (: haha
