    Andreas Sergovia
Andre Segovia was a guitar genius. All these people are great in their music category. None of these men should be compared. They are like comparing apple to oranges.

I chose B.B. King but my choice was not listed as there are two of them. They are Stevie Ray Vaughn or Eric Clapton.

Cripes, another point whore selling Fuller brushes. Dude, aren't you embarrassed by your banality? There really IS nothing at the top once you attain this dumb-ass Guru status!---not even a Soda Head tie clasp, I swear! (certainly no 72 virgins or I'd be all over it) Making outrageous statements about Hendrix, who clearly, was one of the greatest iconic guitarists of the '60's is just so sadly ridiculous, it reveals who you truly are and what you're about.
Perhaps, grab a large cup of STFU and enjoy the crickets and beautiful sunrises instead. We've seen your type of act here repeatedly.

No such thing as "the" best guitarist unless you narrow the particular choice of style. I mean John Mclaughlin to Johnny Freaking Cash lol to Tony Iommi you would need a Concorde to make that flight.

    Al di Meola
Being a guitarist and knowing exactly what each person is doing with their instrument, I still haven't found the man who amazes me more than Al Di Meola. There is a great album called Passion, Grace and fire, and it consists of Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, and Paco de Lucia. It is three of the most talented guitarists all playing acoustic guitars, (that's where someone's talent really shows) and to here what comes from these three men is , for lack of a better term, Awesome! All the men listed are fantastic at their craft, so I wouldn't even begin to put any of them down. Another great male player not listed is Paul Gilbert, and possible the best female guitarist is a young lady from Australia, (early 20's) named Orianthi Panagaris.

Out of those I dig the jazz ones, the blues ones, Jimmy Page, and Johnny Cash.Im really
not sure who my favorites are out of those.Segovia was a classic classical guitarist.Hendrix
had talent but he is far from number one with me.I actually like dig Gary Clark JR. more
than Hendrix though I can tell hes inspired and influenced by Jimi Hendrix.

Hendrix and Lennon had some talent.Their arrogant personalities annoy me though.Acid makes you feel like you can do anything. It makes
some people feel like god even.I experimented lightly in highschool.Im glad I quit.

You kind of need to break in down into a musical category...
    Then have selections...

Kind of hard to pick between say Dimebag, or Kerry King, and B.B. King since BB doesn't belong in that group...
