When it comes to entertainment, Memorial Day weekend isn't just about barbeques and TV movies. There's a ton of sports events every year around this time and this weekend is no different. Like nail-biting, tense, high stakes games? Check out Game 7 of the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. Considering the Sixers weren't even expected to make the playoffs just a couple months ago, one game away from the Eastern Conference Finals is nothing short of remarkable.

Maybe you like a bit more of a physical game and want to watch hockey. The NHL playoffs are in full force, with the New Jersey Devils on the brink of eliminating division and tri-state rival New York Rangers. If you want a sport even more physical than hockey, the Ultimate Fighting Champion returns Saturday night on pay-per-view with UFC 146, featuring heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos taking on former champ Frank Mir in what should be an action-packed affair.

And if you don't care or aren't too interested in playoff basketball and hockey, along with mixed martial arts, there's the good ol' American pastime of baseball, with the MLB's regular season currently underway. With teams trying to solidify a spot in their respective divisions, combined with trades and other rumors, there's usually never a dull moment there. Regardless of what you like, it's always a good time to watch sports with your closest family and friends -- while not having to worry about work!

Memorial day is not supposed to be about sports. It is about remembering all the people who died keeping this country safe.
