Freeing Humanity, One Religion At A Time

About Me

I don't like suppressing anybody's freedom of speech, even on the internet, so if there is anything you wish to put on my profile, whether good or bad, it will not be removed under any circumstance.
Though my "Political Views" says "Progressive", that's only as close as I could get to "Marxist" so. . . Yeah, I'm a Marxist (or Communist scum for you Conservatives out there), so don't believe exactly what that little thing says down there.

Full-on humanist (until we find the other intelligent life out there [maybe it'll be turians? {joke for Mass Effect fans}], then I'll be a speciest. . . or sapientist. . . or something). I'm for the progression of humanity on a whole, so naturally (in my opinion, I believe the two kind of go hand-in-hand), I'd be an atheist as I see religion as the set back to our advancement; Christianity alone has set our technology back by one hundred years. Feminists (better called Feminazis) and anything as ridiculous as Masculinists are not only stupid, but ignorant and psychotic. Besides hating them and wishing to see the end of religions' existing plague on humanity, I support gay marriage and gay rights fully, and do not care if you're gay, lesbian, transsexual, Muslim, Catholic, Jewish, black, brown, yellow, or white— anything. We all suck equally.

I'd like to meet

Obama, TJ (Amazing Atheist), Stephen Hawking, Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Albert Einstein (if only he was alive...), George Carlin

Favorite Quotes

"Recognize, that the very molecules that make up your body—the atoms that construct the molecules, are traceable to the crucibles that were once the centres, of high-mass stars, that exploded their chemically enriched guts into the galaxy. Enriching, pristine gas clouds, with the chemistry, of life. So that we're all connected: To each other, biologically; to the earth, chemically; and, to the rest of the Universe, atomically. That's kinda cool. That makes me smile. And I actually feel quite large, at the end. It's not that we're better than the Universe, we're part of the Universe. We're in the Universe, and the Universe is in us." — Niel deGrasse Tyson

“I don't know what weapons will be used in World War Three, but in World War Four people will use sticks and stones.” - Albert Einstein

"The only position that leaves me with no cognitive dissonance is atheism. It is not a creed. Death is certain, replacing both the siren-song of Paradise and the dread of Hell. Life on this earth, with all its mystery and beauty and pain, is then to be lived far more intensely: we stumble and get up, we are sad, confident, insecure, feel loneliness and joy and love. There is nothing more; but I want nothing more." — Christopher Hitchens, "The Portable Atheist"

"As I write these words, and as you read them, people of faith are in their different ways planning your and my destruction, and the destruction of all the hard-won human attainments that I have touched upon. Religion poisons everything." —Christopher Hitchens, "God Is Not Great"

"An Atheist believes that a hospital should be built instead of a church. An atheist believes that deed must be done instead of prayer said. An atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanished, war eliminated." - Madalyn Murray O'Hair

"Not one man in a thousand has the strength of mind or the goodness of heart to be an atheist." - Samuel Taylor Coleridge (means most people are not morally good enough to be an atheist, for those wondering)

"Religion has ever been anti- human, anti- woman, anti- life, anti- peace, anti- reason and anti- science. The God idea has been detrimental not only to humankind but to the earth. It is time now for reason, education, and science to take over." - Madalyn Murray O'Hair

“There are, after all, atheists who say they wish the fable were true but are unable to suspend the requisite disbelief, or who have relinquished belief only with regret. To this I reply: who wishes that there was a permanent, unalterable celestial despotism that subjected us to continual surveillance and could convict us of thought-crime, and who regarded us as its private property even after we died? How happy we ought to be, at the reflection that there exists not a shred of respectable evidence to support such a horrible hypothesis.”
― Christopher Hitchens, The Portable Atheist: Essential Readings for the Nonbeliever

“We like war! We're a war-like people! We like war because we're good at it. And you know why we're good at it? It's because we get a lot of practice. This country's only two-hundred years old and already we've had ten major wars! We average a major war every twenty years in this country so we're good at it! And it's a good thing we are—we're not good at anything else anymore! Can't build a decent car, can't make a tv set or a VCR worth a fuck! Got no steel industry left, can't educate our young people, can't get healthcare to our old people, but we can bomb the shit outta your country alright! We can bomb the shit outta your country alright! Especially if your country is full of brown people.” —George Carlin

"You ever noticed how the church is obsessed with sex? You ever wonder why that is? Well, it's simple: it's because sex is the driving force of nature. It's the driving force that's built into every one of us. It's what we crave at all times. It is the core of our essence. So, if the religion can take that--if they can take your core essence--something every one of us feels and they can make you ashamed of it, they can make you feel like it's a sin, then they can make you feel guilty for the most natural thing in the world and they can control you."—Cult of Dusty

"Once you leave the womb, conservatives don’t care about you until you reach military age. Then you’re just what they’re looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers."—George Carlin

"Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die."—Anonymous
