i have a tendency nowadays to be found in a chair with a kuppa with my nose in a book.
if i’m not reading, i’m studying or hanging out with my friends.
i tend to have a lot of free time nowadays and i like to spend some of that time thinking about where i consistently keep going wrong.
my thoughts like to leap to different scenarios, most of which currently are making me very upset or very jealous.
if i’m doing none of the above and am not out and about on my bike, then i’m curl up with a kuppa listening to music and wondering the inspiration for the wonderful lyrics in which the talented artists i listen to had when they wrote certain things.
i also have gotten into customization recently.
anyone who would like to see the front of my wardrobe or the plans for my room when my mums stuff has gone and we’re re-deccing are more than welcome to.

i love my music, i love my books, i love my friends, i love my age-old passion for embroidery.

at the minute, my playlists comprise mostly of porcupine tree, rush, simple minds, paramore, muse, carter burwell, nickelback and rob pattinson. each of these for many different reasons.
carter burwell for the mere reason of that it is a piece of music so beautiful that i will cry for no reason when i listen to it. it stuns me how one person can put so much emotion into one song. same with rob pattison, he is multi-talented and i think his voice is incredible.
iron & wine also make it into my playlists, as well as blue foundation and the black ghosts.
steven wilson is a person who i would wait all my life to see live again and it is a must for me to see him whenever he tours. because he is so beautful, a scientist putting the thoughts of one into beautiful, heart-felt lyrics.
inme make a frequent appearance, i just think his lyrics are incredible. as well as his accent.

also, i am rather addicted to the apprentice, though I am very annoyed that that bint won rather than katie.
also, casualty and holby city are some of the greatest shows around

i could go through my dvd rack and you would see the most bizarre favourite films ever.
i love all my disney classics, including aladdin, mulan and hercules, as well as the newer ones, like all three high school musicals, jump in and camp rock!. there are my two favourite guy ritchie films, lock, stock & two smoking barrells and snatch. then we go onto the nightmare before christmas and the corpse bride. i'm not a fan of johnny depp, but i do love tim burton. also, making its newset appearance is twilight, and in november, new moon as well. they are probably the best book-to-film i've ever seen. apart from harry potter, which also make an appearance. confessions of a teenage drama queen, mean girls and the princess diaries make my shelf typically girly, yet so much not.
recently added are 50 first dates & transformers.
and today the haunted airman. Its proper quality.

harry potter one through seven, as well as fantastic beasts and where to find them, quidditch through the ages, and tales of beedle the bard. i love j. k. rowling. i think she has talent and it was the first set of books that i read more than twice. i think they're moving and incredible.
i do think that stephenie meyer posses a similar talent, since the day lydia lent me twilight, i was hooked, and almost obsessed with edward cullen and his whole vampire way of life. the books had me absorbed and i read the whole of new moon in no less that 6 hours. it took my dad 4 time to try and get me to answer my phone. that made me giggle, i was so away with the faries, or vampires and wolves, should i say.
meg cabot has written two of the greatest books ever, teen idol (which i still think is incredibly amazing, and never fails to make me laugh) and avalon high, which i must agree with liz on, that on first read, none of it makes sense. suc an incredible talent to have.
also i love my jacquline wilson typically girly books. i remember my first love of hers - the hundred mile-an-hour dog.
