We may die to find out aspirin sent us to hell. Nowhere in the bible does it say that ignorance is an excuse for sin.

In some places of the world, pot is not illegal. Here in America, Cuban grown and rolled tobacco is illegal. Is all tobacco okay but Cuban tobacco a drug?

At a certain point, I do not leave what is "godly" to my government to decide.

Precisely. That's what I thought was going on. I kept looking and looking, and finally someone said what I suspected. The Bishop was only doing what you did above, with slightly less explicit parallel. I think the media is the part that's making it silly. There are only 2 (maybe 3) versions out there: AP and Reuters. Everything else I learned was from individuals' blogs.

I went to a Catholic grade school. I've since taken a hike away from Christianity, (trust issues), but this one thing possessed me to make a discussion of it because this is intuition, to me.

The Catholic Church and the dark ages Pope need to clean their own house before coming up with "new" sins... their own priests are committing plenty of the "old" sins.

My dumb ass council who owns my house wont change my heating system its old and burns way too much fuel and i do leave on my electrical stuff, we all need to reduce our Carbon footprint , although i think its all too late, should have started in the 80's
