Clean up crime scene, destroy/melt/dispose of weapon, I live in Florida so I would feed the gators, establish/buy an alibi and rehearse till I actually believed it, act normal. This is theoretical right...you haven't already murdered someone and are looking for ideas after the fact??lol.

God made Death valley for just such an event the mountains are full of very deep mine shafts some so deep that a flashlight can't penetrate the depths and one stick of dynamite will close the mine forever! And when you plant something that deep it will never see daylight again!

After a bit more consideration I would have to say if the murder was premeditated I would read by book or two on modern forensics prior to committing the murder.

I don't know. I couldn't even kill the caribou while hunting so I think there is no chance but I am sure I would panic or have a heart attack and die. I probably could in self defense and in that case, I would call the police! Have fun in that class. I never took it but I sure love Criminal Minds!!

dispose of the body by burning, burn the clothing i was wearing when i killed the person, get dressed, destroy the weapon (an icicle would be ideal), then get far away from the scene as quickly and in conspicuously as i can.

I guess I'd dispose fo the body by burning it them scattering the shes. i'd burnt he clothes I was wearing and place my fingertips on a hot skillet to burn my prints, just in case.
