President Barack Obama told Turkish news reporters that America isn't a nation based under one religion. Although Christians make up the majority of religious followers in the United States, Barack Obama claimed that America is not a "Christian nation". Barack Obama went on to state that America is "...a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values". Are you proud that President Barack Obama is keeping the U.S. free of religious identity or does this upset you?

Now see if you can wrap your brain around this: On September
25, 2009 from 4am until 7pm, a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim
religion will be held on Capitol Hill, beside the White House. They are
expecting over 50,000 muslims that day in DC. The
website (yes, there is a very informative website) is:
www.islamoncapitolhill.com Pay particular attention to the very bottom
of the page: "OUR TIME HAS COME". Could it be that the REAL agenda of
the President is becoming more plain? The evidence is there.Read MoreISLAM ON Capitol hill

Barack Obama's claim that the U.S. is not a Christian nation...
The major Principals are there. The idea of as our government thinks of it today that we must supress Christianity in the public arena is a falsehood and wrongfully inerpreted
Notice that it is Ok to quote Koran, Confussionism and several dozens of foolishness in place of the Holy Bible's words. It's like carving an idol, and making believe he has any words to say. The idol has no power what so ever. People will be slaughtered to appease such monstrasities . Out side the substance they are made of they mean nothing in reality. Obama is a fool because he is a Marxist and has no God

I see it as a rejection of theocracy rather than Christianity like some say. Then again, I'm a believer of severe separation of church and state so I was pretty predictable on this one.

He also has given a dictator U.S dollars to put in their charity of choice which happens to also support terrorism. This man's name happens to be kadafi.

(joke answer: version 2.0)
so when he says "we are not a christian nation" he is only stating the facts cause we don't have national religion or a national language. But we do have majorities like the majority of americans speak english and a majority are christians but that doesnt make it the national religion or language. (im tired someone finish i thought for me)
itself means more than religionist can can define. If we all were CHRISTIANS in America we would not be in the shape that we're in now and centuries ago.

Meaning, that a long time ago, a group of someones thought it important to put that sentiment on our money. Meaning that at one time, as a nation, we believed in God. Not the atheist country it seems to be turning into.
In God We Trust first appeared on the 1864 two-cent coin..
November 13, 1861 - Secretary Chase received a letter from Rev. M.R. Watkinson that was instrumental in adding the motto “In God We Trust” to United State money.
Gee... a Reverend wanting to put god on our money....what a surprise...
truly know.
