Is Global Warming a Crisis?

jt November 03, 2009 19:07:35

Global warming has quickly become one of the most heated issues in America (pun intended). Rising temperatures and melting icebergs are indisputable evidence that the Earth is warming, but is this global heat wave a man-made crisis or just overblown hype?

I just visited the Harding ice field AK., the first week of June .It's awesome ! That is an example and a great lesson in knowledge. The earth has been warming since the last ice age . it can not be proven that man is to blame for any of it . Mt. Saint Helens spewed more carbon into the high atmosphere in weeks than mans whole industrial revolution including automobiles.. But if we focus on that ,our politicians could not tax it , so it's in their best interest to shove it down our throats. And to you green believers ,,,your renowned science community depends on government grants for a livelihood so don't tell me they aren't bias ! Please . green believers renowned science community depends government grants livelihood bias

I would consider it 'wealth-transference'. Global warming is only part of a much larger scheme/sham that has been "sold" to us sheeple for several decades. It's amazing how camera angles can show us only what they want us to see. Throw in the proper music and back-ground narrative, and you can make folk almost think anything you want them to. Please take a look at the following blog, when you get a moment:

I hope you'll follow the links and listen to the first clip, Introduction. Thanks for your time.

Here we go again! Polar bears do quite well in zoos in very warm climates such as San Diego and Phoenix. Remember Knut in Germany? yes, a couple have died out at sea, but is that really due to global warming? Mariners die at sea every year due to various reasons, including some due to their own stupidity, with all due respect! The cousins to polar bears, grizzlies, do quite well further south and there is an over abundance of seals along the Pacific coast of CA, OR and WA. If you are that concerned, support relocation of the bears, just like wolves were relocated. Or is that: Not in my backyard? By the way, did you know that polar bears are also herbivores, and that too much snow covers up the vegetation they eat?

Did you know that Polar bears are grizzly bears that adapted to the snow ! Their population has increased and they are moving back inland ! Some were spotted 30 miles further inland than ever before ! I was just in Alaska in June and persued many of these questions about climate. I chartered a plane and flew into the wilderness with a guide . Do the same as I did and you will see the truth. You are being lied to Bee Bop ! Why would Al Gore lie to you Bee Bop ? No.
MMGW (man-made global warming) is not real.
    MMGW is NOT scientific.
Only ignorant Democrats and some scientists (certainly NOT most or all) believe this globalist bullcrap. Why? To syphon more money from the United States for this insidious "we support the world, even though we're broke" mentality of socialist Democrats.
Because of these ignorant mouth-breathers (Democrat politicians and those who vote for them), they exploit and deceive millions of people into thinking pollution has caused the world to heat up. That's a lie from Hell!
Even the great deceiver Obama stated that hundreds of millions of dollars from the damned Democrat Cap and Trade (over-taxing taxpayers to pay for the fictional MMGW) to help support millions of Obama voters in northern US states with their heating bills this winter. Irony? NO!!! A damned Democrat lie? YES!!!
You see, Earth is now in its NATURAL cooling stage (no MMGW) and this winter is supposed to be colder than last winter.
Democrats are SO full of crap, I'm surprised they don't explode from it!

I'm against ALL abortions - end of story. I'm against the needless wars abroad. I'm against the Patriot Act as well as EVERY other unconstitutional action by either Republicans or Democrats.

You see, this is where you betray your inability to really think outside what you're told. You can only think Republican versus Democrat. Meanwhile, people who are able to think outside the box understand why the nation is going down the tubes regardless of which "electable" party is in power.

You automatically assumed you were talking to a a member of the Republican Party didn't you?

On the abortion issue - what's up with the first trimester thing? Is there some known EXACT TIME when killing an infant in utero isn't really killing a human person? Perhaps this is just a convenient way to allow the killing of the unborn and still feel you are against an inherently evil practice?

Logically it isn't a cat, dog, or onion the day before the first trimester is oficially ended (if such a date is ever accurately know). No, that's a human child the day before, and the day before and the day before, ...

"I'm against the needless wars abroad."

Afghanistan? You'll need to clarify this, because it could be used as if you think all the wars aren't needless, and therefore aren't against the war on Terror or our occupation of Afghanistan. I would normally assume so, but on this site, I have to watch carefully.

"On the abortion issue - what's up with the first trimester thing? Is there some known EXACT TIME when killing an infant in utero isn't really killing a human person?"

Well, I believe yes, but that's a whole other discussion entirely. This is for those who are raped specifically. I don't think forcing a woman to carry the child of her rapist(s) is productive in any way shape or form. We'd end up seeing more babies in the dumpsters after they're born and the woman doesn't want to be reminded of her horrendous ordeal. That's why Roe v. Wade was a suit in the first case. Rape. It's an all too common occurrence in the world today, and this is a way to protect women, in my opinion.

If the fetus can live outside of the womb, then I believe it's a life. The day after fertilization, it could not. I believe the earliest premature birth resulting in a healthy life was in the 2nd trimester. Like I said, this discussion is much more in depth than I feel like discussing right now due to time...

If the US is actually attacked abroad then I have no problem with war assuming that diplomacy has in fact failed. Wars initiated solely for political reasons by any president fall into the category of "Needless War."

Despite the fact that many convicts of serious crimes justly deserve death I'm against the death penalty. Not because the punishment is itself unjust but that any nation such as ours that values human life as little as we do (as a nation) cannot properly administer such a punishment.

My hot topic question to you would be: What is the difference between a child in utero that is the result of rape or incest than one who is not. Remove the stigma of the crime and there is no difference at all. The same goes for wanted/unwanted my friend.
