Our troops and their families are in my prayers everyday. Now more than ever. And especially the families who have lost their loved ones. My heart goes out to each and every person. As for the anger I pray about that too. But certainly feel everyone has a good reason to be angry.

Heavenly Father, we take a moment this morning to lift our Troops up before Your throne. Our hearts are breaking for all of those who put themselves in harms way for the sake of freedom, but especially those who felt safe on their own base. Hold the families of those victims especially close to Your heart as they try to come to grips with the loss. Help our army to use this senseless slaughter to find ways to make sure it never happens again.

And Lord, only You can change the heart of a terrorist. You've done it before, and we ask that You will continue to change them. One heart at a time.

Oh, and Lord, help us in our struggle with anger and rage when we see these avoidable disasters. Help us find our way as a nation. A nation who used to love You.

We boldly ask these things in the Name of Your dear Son, Jesus

To make matter worse this guy is now going to get a military trial. They haven't executed anyone in 50 years and the final decision maker on the case for his sentence is President Barack Obama. You know he won't kill a fellow Muslim in fact he might even let the guy out.

14 people died over this guy and now he gets a soft trial, way to go America. Way to Go.

The Washington DC Sniper lost his life yesterday...for shooting 10 people randomly.

The Fort Hood Shooter kills 14 yet he gets a Muslim President that doesn't want anyone to jump to conclusions to set his fate....way to Go!

this attack is not so unexplainable--and we can expect more of the same--there is a massive fifth column in this country and this hienious attack shows they have permeated our military--we are all in grave danger because of the ineptitude of some of our so-called leaders--it's clear these people cannot be trusted and they should be thinking seriously about changing their policies regarding the security of our nation--my question--why has our alleged "homeland security" remained virtually silent regarding this massacre??????

I cannot believe it, I never thought one of our own would do something like that. I always worried about my husband while he was overseas, but never when he was back in the states. Never thought possible, I just want to know why. He was their family, you protect your brothers and sisters in arms.

This is all so very sad not to mention frightening. It took this president a few rounds of applause from the audience before he even began to address the tragedy at Fort Hood. Quite frankly his talk about Fort Hood almost seemed like an after thought. I pray the Lord holds this country in the palm of His hand. We need guidance from above to get us through what this man is doing to our great nation. It gets worse by the day.

i believe it to be righteous anger....we've played political correctness in the military and this is the result..our forces abroad and here at home left under equipped and vulnerable to terrorist attacks in the name of "cultural sensitivity"...the truth is the current administration and leftists despise the American military and gleefully restrict their ability to conduct their mission with the ferocity and determination required to successfully achieve the goal...we should control our anger..but not our outrage...and pray for divine intervention on their behalf to counter the incompetent leadership of the communist in chief.

F/U to this post; Now that I'm getting a (little) grip on this sad situation, I googled some info, its lengthy,I'll try to condense,I for one see a pattern. 1-09 Abdullah Muhammed,black convert to Islam shot two uniformed American soldiers killed one critically wounded the other, in Missouri,stated the attack was for Allah,he warned others in this country are going to attack. 2003 Kuwait,American soldier lobs grenade into 3 tents houing CO's of 101st AA,killing 1,seriously injuring 15. 5-10-07 Ft Dix Six arrested for plotting to masacre soldiers. 9-24-9 Quantico Marine Base,indictment handed down alleges Daniel Boyd and Hysen Sherfi got maps of the base to plan attack, the men went on training expeditions practicing with armour piercing bullets.The two were among 7 arrested, some of the men took trips to Pakistan,Kosovo,Jordan to engage in violent jihad.
