I read this for the first time when I was in 4th grade and fell in love with politics. It really shows how politics affect every aspect of life and how important it is to keep your guard up regarding what politicians are doing. Very fitting for where we are right now as a country.

The Original Book by George Orwell was my introduction and any version of it still tells the same tale...socialism, no matter the 'good intentions' has never worked. NEVER!

Yes, there is a Newer version which I have and love it, because it uses actual animals and people to do the whold story. I first read The Book by Orwell back in the '60's...after reading 1984, both of which scarred me even back then....as well as Huxley's 'Brave New World'. Honestly, I have never seen or heard this Cartoon Version, so I'm downing-loading it to my PC to watch when I have more time. Thanks for an excellent Post, leachim368.....glad you're back! I have enclosed the Newer Version for anyone who wants to see it!
