Yes the ruling was Correct but no, not consentual sex.
and said : I'm really kind of torn on this issue. On the one hand, when the woman said, "I do" it is reasonable to believe that, at least in most cases, she was consenting to sex with her husband and it seems that her family agrees with that. On the other hand, like several others have pointed out, she's comatose so how can she give consent? But, if that's what gets you off, I guess, since they are married, it's really up to the husband, sick as it may seem. As a matter of law, my guess would be that the man has an inferred right to have sexual contact with his wife unless she actually says, "No." They are married, after all. This is just another example of the government getting involved in the private lives of it's citizens, a place where it has no business.

and said : From what I have read, and from my experience with corporate America, it is my opinion, and that of some other people, that the major drug companies and, to a lesser extent, the medical profession, are much more interested in keeping people sick than curing anything. It's much more profitable to have many patients with a miriad of ailments than it is to cure any of the diseases that could be cured. It baffles me how so many people are on so many medications that cost billions of dollars every year yet few, if any, are ever cured of the disease they are being medicated for. In fact, many of the medications cause MORE problems than they cure. Have you ever actually READ all of the information that comes with prescriptions now days? It's frightening! There is no incentive and no long term benefit for the drug companies to actually cure anything. Government involvement makes it even more lucrative for the drug companies. Why would they do anything to put themselves out of business?

and said : This is not the "Change you can believe in" but it IS the change that got voted in and the change many of us expected. Thus far, all of the appointments made or suggested by the president-elect have been hard-left, extremely liberal Democrats with socialistic agendas. Not a single moderate and, as some of us expected, no chance of any conservatives. So much for "crossing party lines" and "reaching across the aisle."

I continue my opposition to the bailout
and said : The US governement has no business IN business. If a company is failing, it is not the responsibility of the government and the US taxpayer to bailout the greed and irresponibility of the corporate executives and boards. Throwing money at these problems, especially if it's placed in the hands of politicians, is going to make things worse, not better. There is absolutely NO REASON to reward these companies for poor management but that's exactly what our wonderful government leaders want us to do. As someone else stated, our government is representing these huge, failing businesses instead of the people who voted for them and now they want more of our money to bail out the failing Auto industry, too! Where does it end? When do our elected representatives represent US? Will our government ever get back to following our Constitution instead of turning further and further to Socialism? I sincerely doubt it.

Yes and I found that it did have high EMFs
and said : My basement is EMF central. The main cause, from what I've been able to determine, is the three or four computers I have running at any given time and the fact that the wiring is two wire Romex, which is a plastic coated, unshielded type of wiring. If you ever go to a place that seems to have very high EMF levels, check the wiring. If it's Romex, your EMF levels will, more times that not, be much higher than buildings that are wired using conduit or BX (flexible metal casing). Conduit and BX shield the wiring in a metal casing and reduce EMF levels to almost nil.

Yes, I would sign to start impeachment proceedings, to impeach Nancy Pelosi
and said : I would LOVE to see the Wicked Witch of the West impeached! It's because for her and people like her that we are unable to drill for oil in the most oil rich country in the world. I guess the OPEC nations are paying her big bucks to refuse to let us drill for our own oil. Many people have been using the Pelosi argument, "The oil companies are leasing thousands of acres of land that they are not drilling on now." Well DUH!!! Why the hell would they waste their time drilling where there is NO OIL!?!?!? They have the technology now days to determine EXACTLY where the oil is and isn't and guess what, there is no oil where they aren't drilling even though they have leases. It's like giving someone a check book for a closed account and asking, "Why don't you just write a check for a million dollars?" Well, DUH, the account is closed, why would I try to write a check from it?

and said : I'm not sure if I would bring a psychic or not since I haven't met many and the ones I have met didn't impress me as being able to actually do anything. But, you never know. If I found one that could convince me of his/her true abilities, then I might consider bringing them along for their ability to possibly locate an entity, but I wouldn't use their "feelings" or "impressions" as any kind of actual evidence.

and said : Most of the time, they are just dust specks that are reflecting the ambient light or the light of the camera. Since they are extremely light, then tend to be highly susceptible to even the slightest amount of air disturbance which makes them seem to be moving erratically when they appear in videos.

and said : Here's an interesting number, 3,393. Can anybody tell me the significance of THAT number? Well boys and girls, it's the number of United States soldiers that were killed in ONE day, D-Day. Yes, that's right, we lost 3,393 US soldiers in ONE day of World War II. While the loss of ONE soldier anywhere is a tragedy, 4,000 killed over a five year period is MINUSCULE in the vast scheme of things. If you want to get upset about something, look at the murder rate RIGHT HERE AT HOME!!! In 2007, the murder rate in the city of Chicago alone was 435. Over the past five years, murders in Chicago have taken the lives of 2,382 civilians, and that's just ONE city in the US. At least the soldiers in Iraq have the ability to fight back and have training on how to deal with someone shooting at them. When are we going to start worrying about all of the people being killed HERE instead of making such a huge deal about the soldiers who volunteered to be in the military. And the argument that there haven't been volunteers who knew they were going to Iraq is pure BS. One of my best friends sons is signing up for the Marines this year and has every intention of GOING to Iraq.

and said : The "Death Tax" is an unreasonable and unconstitutional penalty assessed upon the estate of someone who has already paid taxes on the real property and income that were used to create the estate in the first place, not just the income, if any, created by the estate. This includes, not only a business and it's assets, but the decedents home, furnishings and any savings. In todays economy, it doesn't take owning a business to qualify for the "Death Tax." Just owning a large home in a nice area, having furniture in it and a couple of cars can qualify you for the death tax. The IRS doesn't look at how much is owed on a piece of property when they add it to the assets, they only look at how much it's worth. For a farmer or rancher, their death can ruin the family business since their assets include a home, furniture, personal vehicles, the property the farm relies on to grow crops or feed their live-stock, and the equipment and vehicles necessary to maintain the property and harvest crops. Ask any farmer how quickly that all adds up to over $2,000,000.00! Just the property alone can be valued at more than that, even though the family does not actually have that kind of money and would have to liquidate the entire estate just to pay the taxes on it. Yep, that sounds like a fair and equitable tax that only affects the top 2% of the population, doesn't it? Actually, it's just another way for the government to make people more dependent on it and to discourage creating wealth or even a decent inheritance for your children. Why bother when the government is just going to take it away from them when you die?

and said : While it is nice to know more than one language, making it a requirement for employment in the USA is unacceptable. If people want to retain their own language when they immigrate to the USA, that's fine but they must learn English if they plan on staying here. My wife and her family immigrated to the USA many years ago and she is not only fluent in English, but also Italian and Spanish as well. When people come up to her speaking Spanish, she ignores them and finds that most of them CAN actually speak English when they have to. This just reinforces my theory that these people just want us to convert to their language instead of them learning ours. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you immigrate to another country, you are declaring your desire to become a citizen of that country. As such, it is YOUR responsibility to learn the language of that country and to assimilate to the culture. If you don't feel that you want to, for what ever reason, then you can move right back to wherever you came from and retain your own culture and language. If a person moves to Canada, they are required to learn both English AND French since those are the official languages of Canada. If you want to immigrate to Italy, you learn Italian, France-French, Germany-German, so why has it become OPTIONAL to learn English when people immigrate, legally or illegally, to The United States of America? It's time we take our country back from the invaders that refuse to respect our culture, diversity and language. We didn't move to their country, they came to ours so, why then must we learn THEIR language to retain employment in OUR country?

and said : Not only is it unconscionable to have the United States of America as the country becoming three times more responsible for the support of the world poverty than any other country, but, it is also Unconstitutional! The United States of America already spends more money annually than any other single nation. The United Nations wants to become the only real authority in the world and would like nothing better than to strip us of our sovereignty and our freedom to governor ourselves. We constantly hear how the entire world hates us, yet the UN wants us to continue to pay for their shortcomings instead of focusing on the poverty problem HERE, in The United States of America!! This is what we have to look forward to if Obama becomes president, the handing over of our rights and our sovereignty to the UN. Not to mention the huge tax increases that will be needed to support such globalization. The Global Poverty Act will cause more poverty right here at home! People think there is nothing but the rich and poor now with the middle class shrinking, just wait and see who is going to pay for this load of tripe!! This Act would serve to finish off the middle class in the USA. I am all for helping out other people who are in need, but I'll be damned if I'm going to have some International body force me to give my hard-earned money to some dictator in the name of relieving global poverty. I'd love to see what the UN is actually doing to make sure that all of the money that is ALREADY being force-fed into some of the poorest countries, is actually helping the people who need it. I'd be willing to bet that 98% of all the funds that are being spent are getting into the hands of despots and criminals who have no other agenda than to continue to suppress the poor people of their country. This has been proven time and again and Obama wants us to, not only send more, but to be forced by an international body to give what THEY want us to give and to give it to whom-so-ever THEY want us to give it to. The United Nations does not represent the people of the United States of America and, there-fore, has no right to tax the people of The United States of America. Has anybody ever heard the phrase, "Taxation without representation?" Any Congressman who thinks that we should be obligated to tax ourselves for the "good of the world" is out of touch with reality and has no business becoming the leader of The United States of America.

and said : I think the whole thing boils down to WHY they are voting for him. Is it the color of his skin or his politics? If they are voting for him for no other reason than the color of his skin then Yes, it is racism. If they are voting for him because they truly believe his rhetoric, then no. If they are voting for him because they dislike the other choices, then no also.

and said : I have no qualms with people who genuinely come here to better themselves and do it through legal channels. What I DO have a problem with is the people who come here illegally and then bad-mouth the US, telling us how much they hate us all while taking jobs away from LEGAL citizens and claiming that we won't do them. I know personally of several illegal people who were formerly working at a local grocery chain, they've since been deported. They constantly told us how they hated the US and were only here to send money home. Now, I know that not everybody wants to work at a grocery store, but don't sit there telling me that no American wants to do that job. When I was in the airlines industry, many people I knew lost their jobs to outside contracts that were given to companies that were later busted for hiring illegal aliens to do the work, the exact same work my coworkers were doing before the layoffs. It's easy to charge less to do a job if you are paying sub-standard wages to illegal immigrants. So, how about that argument about how Americans won't do those jobs? Like someone else said, it's not that they won't do the job, it is that they won't do the job for slave wages.
