and said : Has anyone ever looked at it from a child's view point. instead of a selfish adults side of it. Here dig this. I will let you in on a family's secret. I have a mom. who after 2 failed marriages, and 4 kids later. decide being gay was the way to be, And that after many years of being gay, decides if I cant make a marriage last with a man, how about. trying it with a woman. I will not bring the church into this, because you ask us not to. Here is my answer, There is no good secular reason to have a gay marriage. I have seen what is was like having to grow up with a gay mother, who gave up her straight life, for the alternate life style. It was hard for me and my sisters, having to deal with the change, We were all still very young, none of us over 10.and some of us as young as 5, Growing up in a house that wasnt anything like the rest of my friends,who has moms and dads, or even moms with no dads. I was never sure. what to tell my friends, or my teachers, at parent teachers. meetings. I never allowed my friends over, when my mom was home. and I tried to be away from home as much as possible. There is nothing normal, about living in a home with a set of parents that are gay, What lessons as a boy was I getting, and what lessons as a girl was my sisters getting. You can make a point of living in a gay house is good for you because it makes you open minded. But it doesnt teach you. what love is like between a man and a woman. and what is expected from a man in a marriage, or what is expected from a woman in a marriage, if the marriage is between a same sex couple. Sure you see what is expected in a marriage with same sex couple. But in no way is it to be compared to heterosexual couple. there are vase differences, It is hard on kids whose parents becomes gay, You make your child except your life choice, you give your child the alternate life style. You tell them that its ok. while all your friends tell you otherwise. You open that child up to be ridicule by other children. and we all know kids can be mean at time. The impressionable years of a child is very fragile. and to alter there way of thinking and feeling, is long lasting. I have been to counseling for years. during all my high school years, and it has changed me, alot. some childern may never feel the affects of being raised by a gay couple. but some will. and it will change them. and it will change the way they think. and feel about being gay or gay marrage, I love my mom. But I cant condone her life choice. I could go on for a lot longer on the negative side of this issue, just on what I know about living in it as a child, and what it has done to my way of thinking, but I will stop here. Since I cant bring in the religious aspect of it I will leave that alone. Because, It will just harsh in my words, and I said I wouldn't bring that issue to the table. I would have you thank me for keeping that out of this,I respect your request that we not bring religion into this.

and said : My state is a very very very nice state. that started going a stray after the hippie movement. now the hippies are in office, California is a garden of Edan. But became why to expensive to live there anymore. I was born and raised there, but the more liberal they became the more conservative I became. It came to the point. That I had to leave, all my family still lives there, of course they are, in that group of income that they have no problems being able to afford to live there, But not me I went down that path that took me away from the money. so I took my broke ass out east. and south, I live comfortable now. I am sick but I am comfortable, Sorry I digress from what I wanted to say.. I wanted to say. California, relax, you know give it a while and your gay marriage will be revered again. California, is good at making an immoral act a moral one. and moral act into an immoral act,. Its is better in California, to be openly gay, because it is not as offensive, as it is to smoke in public, Californians, are the most arrogant people in the whole country, and have no idea that they are, It took me moving away, and for people to call me an arrogant ass, for the long time. and everywhere I went . Before I realized why people were calling me this. I went back to visit my family once for a few weeks. it was then I understood why people were calling me an arrogant ass, Californians, have been blesses with being born in a beautiful state, and they have let that beauty go to there heads. They have allowed morality to escape them. and let the liberals take them on a journey to immorality. that they will never come back to. the gay marriage ban. is an attempt to hang on to what moral ideology is left in that great state, But I feel its just a loosing cause, I will never forget the good times I had in that state, and Its will always be my state. But I am sad for it, because they have turned a very nice state, a state that a native can no longer call his own.
