It's a horrible law. No way we would stand for that today.

and said : I think the party wouldn't stand for his first two choices, Joe Lieberman and Tom Ridge, because they're both pro-choice. So he reacted angrily (what else is new?) and said you want a pro-life candidate, here she is! Also, he just doesn't get women's issues, he thought women would vote for her just because she's a woman.
