George W. Bush was apparently a devout Harry Potter hater. The former president refused to honor J.K. Rowling, author of the Potter series, with the Presidential Medal of Freedom... and for quite the logical reason. "People in the White House…actually object[ed] to giving the author J.K. Rowling a presidential medal because the Harry Potter books encouraged witchcraft," says former Bush speechwriter Matt Latimer.

The pills claims to have "natural" ingredients and so far the company has no idea was causing the health issues. I know a better, faster, and efficient way to lose weight. Is called "exercising."

After President-elect Barack Obama won the race for president in November of 2008, Obama knew he would have to leave his seat as Illinois Senator. Now, Obama's seat on the Senate is empty and the government officials of Illinois are searching for an acceptable replacement. However, since Obama left, there are no black Senators... so should Obama's senate seat go to another black man?

Barack Obama's race makes his battle for the presidency an uphill one, a poll suggests. According to the poll, Obama would receive about 6 more percentage points if there was no racial prejudice. The main reason is that 40 percent of white Americans have at least a partly negative view toward blacks. In an interview on "60 Minutes", Obama said that there may be people voting for him because of his race, potentially negating the effect of those who vote against him based on race. However, the former effect may be negligible, as Democrats typically get close to 90 percent of the African-American vote.
