and said : I called all 37 still undecided and reached only 4, all the others had their mail boxes full or did not answer. I had no luck e-mailing as they only take e-mails from their own constituency. I did mail letters to many and hope they arrive in time.

This plan is projected to raise total health care spending by less than 1 percent by 2019 ,while extending coverage to 34 million Americans who would otherwise be uninsured. That's a pretty good bargain, but there are many cost-saving ideas in the plan that might actually reduce costs. Now, if we can keep the politicians from robbing the program like they did Medicare...PS. I personally would like to see a Medicare "buy in" plan, and some major changes to it and Medicaid, but it is what it is...sigh...

We have to depend on others to decipher the information in this legislation that is 6-7 times larger than an average novel. The real problem is you can't trust either side. but one thing any idiot can figure out, is that itg is going to cost us a lot of money.

Medicare is the most efficient and economical health care program in the country, so why not strenghthen it even more by bringing more money into it by making it an option ? Of course, some will say the program is going broke, but only because Bush stole a few hundred billion to pay for his needless war in Iraq.
