Trouble may be brewing for TV personality Glenn Beck. After Beck vilified churches that preached economic and social justice, many evangelical Christians are calling for a boycott to Beck's show. Rev. Jim Wallis, a leader of a network of progressive Christians, claims that at least 20,000 people have already joined in a boycott of Glenn Beck's show on FOX. Beck called for people to stop attending churches that preached economic and social justice, and compared them to Nazi or Communist regimes.
Wallis wants to appear on Beck's show and challenge his statement directly. Regardless if he gets his wish or not, there is already a small push back to Beck's words. Do you think that Christians should boycott Glenn Beck's show?

Dense packing snow blankets the earth of the northeastern region of the United States, and the weather reports say that they're going to get more of it. Philadelphia, in particular, hasn't seen snow in these quantities since the legendary blizzard of 1996. After getting several feet of snow since the start of 2010, Philly is expected to get 12 to 18 more inches.
PennDOT has warned people to stay off all roads. Major areas of the city are simply shut down, and city officials have already spent over a hundred million dollars on the snow control.
Could this epic snowicane be a product of global warming?

Remember Joe the Plumber? Of course you do. Well, it seems that the plumber has a grudge against the man he once supported. In a recent article from "The Hill," Joe( real name Sam Wurzelbacher) says that he is mad and no longer supports either McCain or Palin. He even goes further and calls Obama "one of the more honest politicians."
What made this sudden change of heart? Joe claims that McCain "was trying to use me. I happened to be the face of middle Americans. It was a ploy..." He says that he is against Palin for the same reasons. But was Sam Wurzelbacher used? Or did he know what he was doing every step of the way?

KIA Motors has just outdone every other car maker who has sought to make the most outlandish car. The KIA Ray made its debut in Chicago and uses lightweight recycled materials in its construction. The KIA Ray also boasts solar cells in it's glass ceiling that power certain car systems. The Ray design (I call it a pancake) is highly aerodynamic and lacks side view mirrors.
It doesn't have side view mirrors because the Ray is fitted with multiple cameras in the body. Oh, and the Ray also has touch screen controls.

Named and shamed: The Guardian recently ran an article called “The people who ruined the decade” about the famous (and infamous) who make us glad the last 10 years are over.
I don't really find pleasure in someone else's misfortune but here's a list of people who ruined the decade for me:
1. Miley Cyrus. 10-year-olds should not be sexy. Period.
2. Glenn Beck. Journalistic integrity is dying a slow death, and Beck, who blurs the lines between fact and fiction and condemns anyone who disagrees, is not helping.
3. Inventor of the Snuggie. As if Americans needed another excuse to look lazy/stupid.
4. The executive at Fox who canceled Arrested Development. Idiot. Enough said.
5. Tiger Woods-Why do so many women want a one night hole-in -one with him?

My son with 2 college degrees can't find employment because companies are awaiting what happens if the healtcare bill passes and the slim chance that 'cap and trade' gets into law. President Obama says that "this is one of those moments that calls out for American leadership." Among the Haitian victims, one American citizen has been reported dead, with three others missing after the 7.0 magnitude earthquake.

A study published in the journal Public Health Nutrition investigated the relationship between body weight in pet owners and body weight in their pets. Its finding: Overweight owners tend to have overweight dogs, as other studies have reported before. But no such relationship was seen between owners and pet cats.
The Dutch authors conclude that this difference may be due to the fact that dog owners either walk their dogs--or don't. The same relationship does not hold for cats, which tend not to be walked.

Humam Muhammed al-Balawi was the suicide bomber that killed seven CIA agents at Camp Chapman, an American base in Afghanistan.
The CIA suicide bomber al-Balawi, had had a history of being anti-American. The 32-year-old Jordanian doctor had been arrested for posting online his ambitions of becoming a martyr and working with al Qaeda. More than a year ago, Jordan's intelligence agency jailed al-Balawi for his online posts and, subsequently, made him a double agent. After being released from jail, the CIA suicide bomber provided information that foiled al Qaeda terror plots.
After coaxing American CIA agents however, to meet at Camp Chapman to discuss important information regarding al Qaeda number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Balawi set off explosives that were strapped to his chest. Seven of thirteen CIA agents were killed.
Officials say al-Balawi was not thoroughly searched by American soldiers at Camp Chapman. Who do you think is at fault for the deaths of the CIA agents - the Jordanians for believing they had made al-Balawi a double agent, or the Americans for not more thoroughly searching al-Balawi?

Just looking for feedback so that I can help you move around our new site with ease!
The biggest problem I've heard so far is with missing images, buttons, icons and such. To solve it, read this on how to Clear your cookie and cache
Please tell me SPECIFICALLY what you're having problems with. Not that you just "don't like it". :)

For the second week in a row, White House advisers were trash-talking Fox News on the Sunday news shows yesterday. Fox is “not really a news station,” said David Axelrod. Rahm Emmanuel said Fox “ is not a news organization so much as it has a perspective.” A week ago, communications director Anita Dunn opened the White House offensive on Fox on a Sunday show, saying “Let’s not pretend they’re a news organization like CNN is.”

Jayson Blair is now a successful life coach. For those of you not familiar with Blair, he used to work for the New York Times, fabricating stories and foisting plagiarism. Now, the man who led the NYTimes into a journalistic scandal, is helping others with their life decisions. Jayson Blair is able to connect with his patients, because he's been in their shoes. When Blair left the newspaper in 2003, with the scandal still hot, it led to the top 2 newsroom executives to have to resign. Now, back the dark shadows... Blair is out helping others instead. Blair hopes to help others not make the same mistakes he made.

An 80 year old mother, of a 60 year old man, who was wanted by the Sheriff, took action into her own hands. When the Sheriff deputies went looking for the man at his mother's house, the 80 year old mother, opened the door, saw the deputy, and then slammed the door shut. However, that's not how it ended. Right after slamming the door shut, the old lady then fired her shotgun, thought he door, at the Sheriff. Meanwhile, the son, was found hiding in the closet. (coward?) Now the mother is being held in jail for shooting at the deputy.
