Because we do not know any better.
and said : Truth be told, most do not know the actual truth behind what occured in our history regarding Thanksgiving or between the Indians and those who came here from other lands. I am an American Indian, I do believe that much healing has occured over the years and we cannot change the past, but we have not forgotten, hence no reoccurences. Most Indians have adapted the Thanksgiving holiday as a day of Gratitude and Rememberance, just as all other Americans. We do not hold onto our grief, resentment or anger but make the truth known to those who will accept it and go about our lives. We must teach our children to love, respect and be grateful for what they have, not anger and resentment for past deeds. The forgiveness that the Great Spirit allows us is how we have peace aside from so much turmoil in this Country of Ours. Could education in History books and honesty about it taught, yes of course, but do not expect many to come forward and tell their children that their Great, great, great grand whatever did this to the Indians, just as most Americans today that it applies to do not admit this of their slave-owning ancestors-don't want to take responsibility or tell the truth to their children-ignorance is bliss and they do not understand that a lie by omission is still a lie, and with today's technology and computer wizardry most WILL find out the truth if they seek it. This Presidential Election Gives Hope Maybe Someday we will Celebrate Crazy Horse Day!

I'm an Obama fan and I love it
and said : In all reality he is doing what he is supposed to do. First those opposed to him complained about how he was not prepared to be POTUS, now he is preparing to take the reins on DAY ONE and you are complaining about that. MAYBE a little intelligent knowledge about what is actually going on and being grateful or even accepting of his preparedness would be in order. MAYBE 9/11 would not have happened IF Bush would have taken the situation with Bin Laden seriously during his transition with the Clinton administration when receiving numerous intelligence reports instead of playing dumb and blaming it on Clinton. I believe you are complaining now about his preparedness because you cannot use that against him any longer. Either way, Obama has taken on the worst Governmental situations in History and I will give him a fair chance to follow through with his administration and his Presidency because I am an AMERICAN and THAT IS THE TRUE AMERICAN WAY! and said : It is a very offensive tactic used and abused here, just like the downrave system, Many here will reply to an answer or comment then block so that person cannot respond, and I see many more DR's that do NOT fit the DR catagories yet those DR's are allowed to stay in place. I have never seen so many people so desperately beat a dead horse in hopes it would come alive again as I have seen with the Obama Haters-Amazing how Acceptance is the most difficult mental and emotional state a human being can come to terms with, yet many in life do and I have yet to see this happen when it comes to those who hate Obama, but we all also know that Acceptance cannot be achieved if mental illness is prevailent in a person's mind because the mental illness has control, not the person and that seems to be the way of it with those opposing Obama! and said : Last I heard over a month ago he was going to Columbia to meet his wife. I am hoping that is where he is and all is going beautifully for them. I have tried calling his phone several times and left a few messages, and did just now and it still goes right to voice mail, but have received no reply as of yet. This is what I think......
and said : My personal opinion is She keeps the insanity going-after the Turkey shoot-I mean interview with her choosing not to move to a better spot, she is just one big contradiction after another. Either way-until she learns how to hunt fairly, and respect Mother Nature I could Never support her, even though I was raised with the same accent-lol! I'd vote for Margie before I'd ever vote for Palin!
