Is a cover-up the same as a lie?

Is a cover-up the same as a lie?

    3 3
A cover-up is definitely the same as a lie.
You two gave better advice than i could have imagined. I definitely get angry easily. Definitely get jealous. I do know though all people are not the same. We have been on and off for two years, so i think that we have had plenty of "breaks." With him, serious discussions are out of the question. 1. Because he never tells me the unadulterated truth, and 2. because he doesn't like talking about situations in which he might have done something wrong. The subject gets switched very fast. I respect his hard work throughout highschool, throughout college, and he landed a great job (btw he has been working with a girl for a year and a half, that he used to date, and he just two days ago told me about it), and can sometimes be a role model to me. Most of the time though i hate him because of his cover-ups, lies, prejudices, double standards, constant traveling for job, and because he ultimately puts himself before me in any and every situation imaginable. Which in itself, isn't always a bad thing, but when he hides things from me in order to save face and to be able to hang out with past flames, i find that shady, selfish and hurtful. I think a cover-up is the same as a lie, but i am f*n crazy and still there is definitely more to it.

Do you think teenagers know about "love"?

    23 17
    Yes
Wow, right on sunshine! That is definitely true. Love is so much more confusing than quantum physics; child and adult alike find physics and love to be like another language. They both have stringent rules, regulations, loopholes, and exceptions. I also find it funny that when most people try to define love, they must use a metaphor or a simile. Do some research, it is quite intersting that most people can not define love in semantic terms. I applaud teenagers for their willingness to love and for their determination.

Is it possible for a teenager to be a good mom?

Is it possible for a teenager to be a good mom?

    Yes
Yes, I absolutely think so. As LPE says, it is hard to be a mother at any age. I do not think though that it is any harder to be a teenage mom than it is to be a quarter-aged mother. Many of these 24, 25, 26 year old women having babies have full time careers. Once their maternity leave is up, its right back to work. Maybe they hire a nanny. Since teenagers are usually late high school students or early college students, they have many less obligations than your quarter-aged mother. Their time is dedicated to their child and their child gets much more love from their biological mother than they would from a nanny, resulting in a physically and mentally healthier child. Fundamentally, any first time mother has a hard time adjusting to motherhood. Any one of these mothers has the potential to be a "good mom" or a "bad mom."

How many cups of coffee a day do you drink?

    1,620 1,163
    none
I drink caffeine only when i have to stay up all night to study. Coffee is dangerous in so many ways that i try to avoid it whenever possible. Regular caffeine consumption causes dependence which makes your day that much more complicated. Also, caffeine is a steroid. With all of the over-the-counter and under-the-counter drugs that people take on a daily basis, they do not need another steroid in their body. Take for instance the average career-oriented young adult, daily coffee drinker, who works plenty more than 40 hours a week. These overused workers are lowering their immune systems exponentially by lack of sleep coupled with steroid use. It would be more beneficial to get 6-8 regular hours sleep and to allocate their workload to incremental parts of their day, than to go to bed late to get work done and then drink coffee in the mornings.

Definitely. In fact, only minors should be allowed to own handguns. At least we know that they can't get wasted and shoot everyone in the bar. I would feel safer.

No, Hillary is planning on sticking it out till the end.
She better stay in. At least until people realize that Obama is not the right man for president. I think that people are so overwhelmed with our current economic conditions due to our long period of reasonably stable conditions since, I believe, Bill Clinton. Many people want change so badly and they believe in authority figures most predictably, that they were just sitting ducks for Obama's campaign. Lets hope Hillary sticks it out.

No way...dress codes are a must for prom!
Girls, such as the one in the picture, are unappealing to look at to begin with. Why would anyone want to see them practically undressed? Dress codes should be enforced at school functions to allow all of the students to have a good time. No one wants to worry about seeing the top fall off of that girl.

Yes; It proves that Hillary Clinton has the working-class vote leading to higher "electability."
Yep. Believe it or not, America is made up of working class people that Obama snubbed by calling them "bitter." We wouldn't be so bitter if presidential candidates, who are attempting to govern our nation, weren't elitist. Thanks, but no thanks. I would much rather someone with a community college education to govern our nation.

Is it right the California supreme court, with a vote of 4 to 3 should wipe out the ban on same sex marriages? This to me says why vote when they can just overturn what 61% wants.

Before You Snub Me! I strongly believe that every state in America should allow gay marriage. What is not right is that the court system is allowed to overturn voters decisions. That goes against everything our democratic society is supposed to stand for. In an article published by ReclaimDemocracy.org, Jeff Milchen writes, "Our lack of a right to vote also weakens legal arguments for challenging anti-democratic structures that routinely prevent citizens in several states from enjoying a choice other than Democrats or Republicans at the polls." Not only does it restict us to two parties, but the lack of an official right to vote weakens peoples arguments for gay rights, or for any of our rights at all. Support House Joint Resolution 28. Ensure that your rights are respected.
