In this comment, I will touch base on the many but erroneous factors that are used by anyone who opposes homosexuality, factors such as religion, gays raising kids, and homosexuality leading to bestiality. First off, this one just makes me mad the most really, why are we forcing any kind of religion in eachother's faces? Truly, I do not personally care what your god says. Just because Christianity and other anti-homosexual religions are the majority, doesn't mean they can control the minority! We have been through this, people! I put it simply on a "you believe what you believe, and I believe what I believe, and we don't interfere with each other's beliefs." Now, some of you radical, and yes you are radical if you truly HATE gays, Christians might say that by us getting married we would interfere in your believes. Truth is, we really wouldn't be. Because how about you look it in a backwards perspective. Do you really think gays feel sickened by a man and a woman being together? It's on our kids movies and shows. And do WE complain? Have you heard a gay couple saying, "Our kids watched your kids movie and I think it's horrible that they had to watch how the girl chased after the boy she liked the entire movie! How disgusting!" What's worse is, that is really what we hear. How really messed up is that? We can tolerate you, but you think we're disgusting? and Unnatural? Think again, folks. Homosexuality is in the brain. Now, I will admit the scientist weren't completely 100% sure that this was the main cause of being gay, but it was one of the many BIOLOGICAL, and NATURAL causes. Here's what they found. They found that a gay woman's brain is similar in structure to a straight man's brain. And a gay man's brain is similar to a straight woman's brain. And also, they did a test on what pheromones stimulate homosexuals. Turns out, gay men are attracted to testosterone and lesbians like estrogen. This is SCIENCE. Not religion. To be truthful, we should not be looking at these outdated scriptures and turn to modern science. I'm not saying stop believing, I'm saying get with the program, people. Just because your god, in your round-about and twisted way, says that homosexuality is bad, doesn't mean that is true. At all. And what's better than that? Two women can create a baby. Check out haploidization if you want to know more about that lovely miracle for us. By the way...I wasn't raised by gay parents, nor did I even know anyone who was! I had no influences whatsoever, nor did many of my homosexual peers. But they still are gay, and they want to be happily married and raise kids that they will be proud of, no matter what they are. That's more than we can say for many of you radicals and haters. And don't say "You're dissing me for my opinion" I'm not. You hate me, you are normally not afraid to say so. I don't hate you. I say mind your own "god-damned" business. Because you really don't know anything. And bestiality...BESTIALITY!? Two CONSENTING ADULT HUMAN BEINGS that love each other and think together getting married makes you think of people who have sex with ANIMALS WHO CAN'T CONSENT? It's not like we're raping each other. Having sex with animals that really don't want to? That's raping animals. Totally different sides of the spectrum. They would have no standing grounds if people who practice bestiality came out of the farm. Yes, they are people. Are their partners consenting? Moo way. Speaking of consenting, remember that whole thing in polygamy practices where the young girls don't want to get married to some 40 year old guy? Where polygamy violates the rights of mainly women? We had many problems with polygamy, that's why it is ALREADY ILLEGAL and that battle was fought. Now it's our turn! Use your knowledge, gays, I know you're smart enough to figure out that we can't win our fight with mainly defense. We have to make our defense then our argument. We are humans that can consent and want to love who we want! The battle was already fought by all the other minorities. I'm sorry, blacks, if you don't like that we're comparing but we're trying to make the point that we are another case of people who don't know any better trying to say that we are abominations and underneath them. Sure, we weren't ever slaves and nothing we have gone through compares to that. But we aren't completely FREE! For all these years, it's the 21st century! Next time any of you want to make an argument against us, try to put a race or a religion or anything in that position. "Oh my gosh, did you see those blacks kissing on the tv? How disgusting!" "Is that a Jew? God said in this verse that Jews are horrible!" "A Christian in our school? No way! We can't have them teaching their filthy ways." Yeah, you complain about not letting God into the schools, yet you think that kids should grow up to not know anything about homosexuals and how they are just another part of our society. "I don't want our kids learning about blacks. I know, we have one as our neighbor, but I don't want our kids knowing about them." I hope you all understand my argument. Marriage is about rights, government rights. I don't want to get married in a church, anyway. I have nothing against religions, I just don't believe in them. I don't let if affect my relationships with other people. I just don't want to say that I know what's going to happen when I die unless it's proven. I really just don't know. And truthfully you don't know either. So to say that you know that gays are horrible is entirely wrong, because you don't know. Because no one taught you. Because your family was too afraid to teach you anything. I'm not trying to teach your kids about homosexuality. That's your choice whether or not you want to let your children know the truth. They will be exposed to it at some point, I promise you. And I'm not telling you that your religion is bad. Just don't let it interfere with my life. And I'm not trying to ruin the sanctity of marriage. I wonder much better divorce rates would be if gays could married. I'm not trying to ruin marriage. I'm trying to participate in the practice! And it's just wrong? What is wrong is people trying to control other people's rights to love and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Just leave my Christian girlfriend and I alone so that we can get married when we are 18. I want the rights and the certificate saying that I AM LEGALLY MARRIED!
