Very well put...I agree that to adopt a socialist mindset of "share the wealth" sounds good if you have no wealth to lose, which I don't, but it is fundamentally unAmerican and makes me afraid that too many will buy into the wanting of money and not look at the larger picture of "then where will we be" and will our basic beliefs in who and what America is still be intact. I question anyone willing to gamble away their own freedom for cash. I question their morals, their mentality and their patriotism. I understand being poor and the desperation you can have, but to not look at the whole of it throws the entire country in the garbage for a small amount of money that in the grand scheme will not really change their lives at all, it would at best give them a month or two of having followed by an even bigger drop of not having, after the taste of it will they even see what they threw away.
