We had something like this added to our homeroom classes in the second semester last year... a whole week devoted to watching some vids and talking about it in small groups. There were more than a few kids who recognized themselves as being in an abusive relationship. The sad part was, the whole school knew of one of these already going. So, in a way, the other kids would see that as the example of what one was without ever knowing that there were lesser forms of it as well. Some were able to even identify why their parents broke up. They had no definition of what they saw till they watched these videos. It was certainly an eye opener...
