Hef's not some sad puppydog looking for love. And he's not in a true "relationship" with these girls, either. Their relationship is for public perception, and it's purely business. In the case of Holly, there was an actual relationship... although it was based mostly on her obvious desire to have a good place in Hef's will, and ultimately to end up owning Playboy in a few years when he dies.
