ok please look at how much we currently spend per person on health care to other countries. we spend more than anyone else many reasons but one is since we do not have universal care people wait till they are very very sick then go to the emergency room which is so much more expensive than having preventative care. don't trust me but look at the data yourself; and I work with people from all over the world and have lived overseas I see how other health care systems work. I lived in a poor poor country and they had universal health care. 50 million people uninsured; that is a black mark on any society your taxes dont have to go up at all so relax
