I think that time is perceived as linear because of the nature of our lives. Space-time is far trickier in its entirety. This planet and all that lives on it are a sub-set of the manifestations of space-time. I feel that once we come to understand some of the manifestations outside those we experience in our daily lives, we will discover pathways through time. On a different slant, I am always in awe when I look up at the stars and realize that the light I am seeing is hundreds or perhaps millions of years old. I'm looking back in time!
