Out dated. The time has come to get rid of this *-American nonsense. If I walked around saying I'm European-American people would wonder what kind of drugs I'm on. I had a friend in the military that used to introduce himself to black people as Australian-American (he was black but his family came from Australia). The white guys thought it was funny but the blacks thought he was a traitor to his race. Enough is enough! Why can't we just be Americans? (I know I'm going to be called naive - among other things - but hey, I'm just expressing my opinion.) *****************************
