I don't know... I would call the Police, and let them handle it... I do know that NJ is a state that will allow a parent to "abandon" their child at the local police dept, no questions asked... obviously, in an effort to reduce the amount of unnecessary child deaths (garbage cans, dumpsters, etc.) that have been occurring over the last few years.... I don't even know the last time i saw a story about a child being found dead in the trash.... I do believe that they will try to find and prosecute parents who abandon their children anywhere else though...
