I think that Green's are humanity's infection, an infection of misanthropes who will not be logically consistent and either off themselves or learn balance. The tragedy is that as Greens become self parodying,. and cause economic hardship for people that their good works will fall by the wayside. We'll be back to the bad old days of heavy pollution and anyone who objects will be "one of those nature kooks". We really are better off in many ways since pollution laws came into effect. Nothing ruins a good idea like applying it too far. For example, this recent seizure of wealth under "Cap and Trade" that is being pushed into the House and Senate. At some point in time people are going to quit sulking and start agitating. God help us then when the vengeance of the unwashed is unleashed upon the political class in the form of another 1994 "revolution".
