Everyone should be able to feel that their homeland, wherever it is, and whoever is in control of it, is very special to them and worthy of their remaining there to make it ever better. That said, and with obvious bias, I believe that the Western Hemisphere, and the United States in particular, is the greatest. For all its faults and transgressions, it has strived for and achieved greater freedom of religion, speech, and potential for its citizens than any other. Sad to think that we may also be approaching an apathy that might allow those freedoms to slip away again.
