Well, I think the cop was within his rights to defend himself, but In such drastic way? He stepped over the line in his responce. ( My opp.) It does not always have to be shoot first and ask questions later. I would have to say bad form on his part. Also the beer bottle tossing was a dumb thing to do. Things like that can get you shot now-a-days.
