I saw a piece on TV this morning regarding this project and thought this was such a good thing. I can remember girls at my g'daughters schools parents paying mega-bucks for their prom dresses and my g'daughter had a fabulous dressmaker make all hers at an affordable cost not withstanding that my g'daughter designed her own and they were absolutely breathtaking. Some families simply can't afford them. I noted one of the girls had lost her Mother and her aunt was raising her and couldn't afford a prom dress for her.
