My mother and I were talking once, and she said that everyone had needed something new. And Stephanie Meyer gave it to them. It didn't have to be revolutionary(or even well written). It just had to be new. And I know, vampire romance novels aren't new, but the way Stephanie Meyer spun it and the attention it generated (mostly from teenagers whose brains have been rotted from 'reality-tv') made it popular. Those people who thought, "Well it MUST be good for so many people to like it." read it, some liked it.

We need to give things a chance before we criticize. Because really? He's only been here for seven months. He's got four more years to go. Historians have theorized that if Johnson had been impeached when he was on trial, America could've collapsed. Obama is our ONLY chance right now. If it would've been McCain. HE'D have been our only chance. Either way, we have to have faith Obama will try to get us through this. Not for the good of Democrats, or Republican's or the third parties. For all of us.
