If you get the opportunity, I hope you'll visit one of the Smithsonian museums, too. My favorites, the Freer and Sackler, as well as the African Museum and the Space Museum, are all walking distance (a long walk) from my little park. So is the Tidal Basin -- a great view of the Jefferson memorial... but I'm getting carried away here. That's probably a lot to undertake in one day. Have a wonderful time whatever your itinerary, and I hope you'll tell me all about it. (more)
