While they consider themselves as a suicidal prevetion effort, most teens who call don't feel suicidal but want peer conversation because of struggles they find tough to deal with on their own. The telephone lines are out there for anyone who wishes, within the US, though the toll-free number is good for only those within Massachusetts.

Hey, thanks for the response. To me, when I see lyrics like that, I don't just see an isolated case of 'dude, this guy's a total dick'. I see a social issue in which there are troublesome, widespread attitudes toward sexual assault and rape. As an entertainer, Rick Ross wouldn't have said that in his song if he hadn't have felt like it would be well received. I don't know his music at ALL, but I have trouble imagining him going out and rapping about shooting dogs for fun, or 'feedin' my kids some antifreeze, and they ain't knowing it ain't kool-aid', that shit would garner him some VERY negative feedback, but some feel that him bragging about date rape is somehow okay? I think critical evaluation is important when approaching questions like that, and it is truly good to hear that my debate did someone some good. :)

Hahaha I'm currently taking American Government, Law enforcement Opperations, corrections(online), and Calculus 2. I don't really like any of them.... haha they all bore the mess out me most of the time, haha.
