I don't hate "liberals", I actually agree with them about some thngs, for example, Capital Punishment and "choice" (the latter to a limited degree). I'm not a neo-Con nor Republican. I even work for a company which I think one of the Climate Change Coalition, which wants to impose this crap on the US and other places. So I have no financial interest in preventing this crap, quite the contrary.

I have a problem with junk science and Big Brother worship. I don't love Big brother. Oh well.
Fact of the matter is, most of the money that supports "Global Warming" also comes from private sources, mainly large business interests which want to rape the average citizen. Nice to see that you're in such good company.... with David Rockefeller, Maurice Strong and a host of other Elites who want to bring the average European and American to their knees for easier control.
So be glad - you've proven that you do love Big Brother, to the point that you're following Pretzel Logic to get to Utopia.
Tell me true - did they promise you a post in the Green Utopia, or do you get a merit badge entitling you to a free one week vacation per year? Or are you doing it so that you feel better about yourself, in your own goodness? (more) -

I for one would like to know what "normal" rates of glacier melting are, and where did you learn such a thing? The world has had how many Ice Ages in the last four billion years?
What else might cause this, if it's true? At least two competing theories for "Climate change" have arisen.
One suggests that solar activity is a strong driver of climate. The sun certainly is not consistent, even children know that the earth's Sun is capable of changing outputs over time.
During the "Little Ice Age" an effect was noted, known as the "Maunder Minimum", where sunspots were not seen on the sun. http://www.john-daly.com/sola... Dr. Dr Theodor Landscheidt is a controversial figure, among other things he was an astrologer. However he has been published in peer reviewed journals for his climatology work.
Apparently NASA agrees to a point... (You'll need microsoft word or a reader to see this one).. http://www.spaceandscience.ne... A second theory suggests that cosmic radiation is interacting with the atmosphere on its outer boundaries, causing it to have differing abilities to reflect light and thus moderates the ability of the atmosphere to accept the sun's rays or changes how long wave radiation is released back into space. http://physicaplus.org.il/zop... Recently an EPA Economist, who admits that he's not a scientist but is a skillful researcher about product safety (he was a big believer in seat belts, hardly the mark of a right wing extremist) released such a survey of alternatives at the request of his superiors. Not long before the vote on Waxman-Markley he was asked to start a new project before he completed this one. http://carlineconomics.google... http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/... Where does this all lead - apparently the scientific theory of human caused climate change has not been settled and may even be false.
I don't know the exact time that the little ice age ended. (more) -

Here's a good quote that shows how far off into the weeds these "Scientists" have ended up...
"These are computer-based mathematical models which simulate, in three dimensions, the climate's behavior, its components and their interactions. Climate models are constantly improving based on both our understanding and the increase in computer power, though by definition, a computer model is a simplification and simulation of reality, meaning that it is an approximation of the climate system." http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/c... This is bullshit. Plain and simple. A computer model is a model, not a "simulation of reality". Any undergrad Physics student knows this for a fact.
Alas, these "models" are the bedrock of the false religion of "Global Warming Believers", who have turned the natural joy of science into a new religion, one that is subsidized by greedy Corporations, for example, the US Climate Action Partnership, a coalition of US businesses which seek to rape US taxpayers by using the false dogma of "Climate change" to achieve more $$$$$. Correlatio... Correlation is not causation. The glaciers could be melting for any number of reasons having nothing to do with carbon dioxide production by human beings.
Correlation is playing bongo drums during a solar eclipse and the event ends.
Causation is when you smother a candle with a glass jar and it goes out, or you drop a stone and it accelerates at a rate no greater than 32 feet per second per second.
I want to see data that links the change in "average global temperatures" (that is, an average based upon samples take around the globe and one cycle of seasons) with changes in the emissivity of the Earth AND that excludes causes such as changes in the sun's output.
See, the problem I have with a lot of this "Science" is that Earth just came out of a "mini Ice age". There were Viking Settlements in Greenland, which became far too cold to remain. There were also food shortages in Europe.
Since the Romans didn't have coal fired power plants and SUVs I'm feeling a bit skeptical that once their empire fell so did the Earth's temperature" and that once the "industrial revolution began" that the earth's temperature came right back up again.
What you're showing me is interesting but no more germane than me discussing recent history. I'm not the one who wants to tax the average American into penury - you are. So it's on you to justify this crap. (more) -

You think that holding NATO exercises in Georgia, rebuilding the US nuclear weapons stockpile, adding 40,000 troops to the Afghanistan quagmire, threatening Iran, and interfering with the internal affairs of Honduras are examples of promoting "good international relations"?
Even if Bush was the anti-Christ I think that the above deeds clearly point out the actions of a President who is not interested in peace.
I think, to be fair minded about this, the Committee should have waited another year, just to see if Obama actually did get the US out of Iraq and Afghanistan, quit meddling in the affairs of our poorer neighbors to the south, and maybe did more than talk about nuclear stockpile buildowns.
