I came to see where you are at. So you know all of our politics over there in the East. I went to the World's Fair in 7?. I was living for 6.5 years 1970-76 in Missoula, MT. It was a fun trip to Spokane, but so long ago, I do not remember much. I was revisiting and did not recall the prior comment below. Well I have my elder status as my defense. You know how crappy the politics are here. Robbery at the hands of just about everyone who can take it away. In any case, glad to reconnect. Here is another pretty with good colors, my SH traveling companion. Lata, Jane

just wondering...
You bet! As crazy as Seattle is on the Left, we balance that out here on the East side. Two words, `Jim` and `West`. Pedophile who used public property to hunt boys and offer them city internships on gay chat sites. Got caught in a sting by the paper and the whole thing was published. However, the establishment like him, so he kept his job for several more months until a soccer mom finally got so sick of it she starting a recall campaign.
The town is hiring a Police Ombudsman because there have been so many police killings and whatnot. Oh, and that only counts the ones where the dead guy was unarmed. One cop got released for being drunk and offduty and shooting a guy in the back of the head whom he thought was stealing his truck outside the bar. The victim was tried and found innocent within two months. Two years later and counting, and the cop has not even had a court date set yet.
Yet, I really do love this place. The quirkiness and character is really appealing - outside of a bit of corruption, this place really has an innocent charm to it.
So Seattle back to normal yet?? Out here we finally stopped having workers on the roofs of buildings seven days a week, after 55 or more roof collapses and several days of schools closed due to roof collapse risk. They say that the majority of the snow fall this winter is done now...but who are they and how do they know?! BTW, thanks for the flowers. They are great!
