About Me
I am a very out going 40 something female. In 2006 I was diagnosed with RSD/CRPS which is rated the number one most painful disease there is. The way i can tell you how i feel is imagine someone cutting off one of your limbs and pouring gasoline inside your body then setting it on fire...well that is what i live with. Sadly there is no cure. It is not well known even to the medical society nothing worse than when i go into the hospital screaming, and they have no clue what to do! They have to look it up. Or they think its all in my head. It all came about due to a fall, and broken bones, and several surgeries, my life has never been the same. Please take a minute to look it up, and research it. I was lucky I had a Dr that knew what i Had right away, some people go years, and years before getting diagnosed properly while in the the mean time they hear they are drug seeking, or its in their head. Do research because god forbid id it happens to you or a loved one at least you have an idea what you may be dealing with.
I'd like to meet
New friends that are true to themselves and others. Others with RSD/CRPS.
Activities
I love fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, camping, ball games, cook outs, travel, cruises, beaches. Auctions, fairs, flea markets, yard sales. some i can no longer do.
Interests
I have many, but again sadly my ability to do much of anything has been taken away from me. I love the red sox, time with friends and family, i love electronics...lol i guess i have become a gadget geek as my friends call me. Love my computer, and my kindle. And my dog scottie, who is my rescuer.
Favorite Music
It varies really but no rap, opera, and rock music that is screaming
Favorite TV Shows
i like the news programs, law & order suv, sons of anarchy, some reality shows.
Favorite Books
I love to read I have been shut off of buying books, i have so many so i bought a kindle... now i can have all the books i want and it does not cause any "CLUTTER". as if it ever did anyways. Lately i have been reading and enjoying books that have to do with things that very well could happen like .."one second after" EMF attack awesome book.

Honestly, not doing better but I am tough and am hard to break. Just worn out, tired and scared... Honestly wondering how long my body can survive weighing nothing like I do. Dr.'s are baffled and when I ask them 'how much more can my body take living at the weight I am?' They just look at me and Pat like they have no idea. That's what scares us the most. But life is good other than that. I have a beautiful family and friends and that's what is most important. It's going to rain anytime now and the wind is a blowin. We need t he water. How's the house, dog and Sweet Michelle? I'm confused about what info you are talking about... EXPO? I think I may be having an RSD brain fart, cause I don't know what you are talking about LOL! Love ya Sis

Yes, crazy is right! Wish it was crazy good too. I will tell Lorie abou t Skype and see if we can't get her a video camera somewhere used for cheap. That's how I got mine for this computer altho Pat likes to use the video camera instead. Maybe if the one I have is compatable with her computer I can just send the one I have. I have to ask Pat 1st tho. I have Yahoo, but have yet to use it. I really like this sight too. Lots of interesting things to read about and polling too which I like. I like to know what others think about certain situations. You and Boarders. They should just give you free coffe/tea and snacks LOL!

It is a great place to restimulate my brain. I am glad we had a chance to talk. Haven't talked to Lorie lately either. Maybe when the weather warms up again in the spring and summer we will all be feeling better and will be back to conversing like we used to. Wishing you a nice day. Hugz N Luvz

I have RSD which comes and goes. I'm also a Type 1 Diabetic with only two-thirds of my pancreas left and I have some other problems. I voted for President Obama and am very proud of his efforts on healthcare reform. I find your photo of our president (a former constitutional law professor) depicted as deleting items on the bill of rights ill informed and offensive, no matter what your medical problems there is no excuse for this level of ignorance.

I don't mind the taste of the Ensure drinks as long as they are cold. Problem is, since getting Scleroderma of the esophagus and intestines they don't help. Even eating fatty foods don't help. They finally figured out why I don't absorb any nutrients from food I eat and it's the Scleroderma. Having a hard time even using the feeding tube now too, since when I use it now I bloat up like I'm preggers and am doing that as well when eating by mouth. Last week I was only able to get in a can and a half. So weight is now down again at 84, which is only 1 lb away from when I went into the hospital in Nov. It is what it is and I can only hope, wish and pray, pray, pray that things will get better. God is good and has answered many of my prayers lately so I just have to try to stay as positive as I can be and be happy with the people I have in my life and the things that make me smile. Love you and I'm glad you are doing as good as can be. Is the weather warming up for you yet? I know how you love sitting outside on your deck enjoying the suns rays. Poor Scottie, I hope his ear infection goes away soon. Nikita gets ear infections a lot. Send my love to Michelle and sending you love too. Hugz
Miss and love you too XOXO
Love you
