About Me

I am one person whose life has run the gamut; I have been sober for almost 23 yrs, and God willing I will get thru today. Getting there was not easy. I spent some time homeless or living in missions, some time in jail, some time married, some time as a tramp, (all definitions apply) and a lot of time thinking about controlling my drinking.
Since then I have spent 19 yrs married, no time homeless, no time in jail, some time wishing I was a tramp and everyday thanking God for my sobriety.
I own my own business, and in the past 19 yrs have not drawn a paycheck from another soul, I have taken nothing from the government, have paid my taxes, and have created my share of jobs. I want nothing from the government, except to keep terrorist and other enemies off my back, my taxes low, so I can keep my employees, and the pot holes filled so I can get up and down the road in my Dodge Pick-up and/or my Durango. Other than that, I can take care of myself, and if I can take care of myself, I expect you to take care of yourself. If you can’t I will help until you are able, and in return you will help the next.
I believe a States Right trumps a Federal mandate every time, I believe the second amendment is vital to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. I believe if citizens were allowed to carry the streets would be safer.
I believe that abortion is wrong, but that it is not my place to impose that on someone else. At the same time I believe Roe-V-Wade ought to be overturned and the regulation of abortion returned to the States. I believe it is a woman’s right to choose abortion as an option, but a late term abortion is a crime and the choice to terminate late is a crime and should be punished.
I really do not have a position on Gay marriage, although it is full of problems if the marriages aren't recognized nationally, then again, one state should not be able to force their laws on another state.
I am not or have never been accused of being a racist, but I do believe in racial profiling. If the suspect was described as white then stopping Native American's seems kinda dumb, as does stopping Whites and Hispanics if the terrorist are described as Muslim or of Arab decent.
I do not believe in term limits, but I wish you had to pass a civics test to vote. And I believe ACORN is a criminal organization.
But most of all I believe that if you gotta love your neighbor it would be easier if they were a tramp!
