About Me
I love my country. Don't talk bad about it to me and we'll get along just fine. If you start attacking my family in any way shape or form or start the name calling, our conversation will be over. I'll extend the same respect to you.
I've been in the Navy for 14 years, my hubby for 16. I was the first female aircrewmen at my squadron back in 1997, and was the first female "first crewman" in the Navy. I am an airframer(metal/composite/hyd... repair), and actually really enjoyed doing fiberglass/hydraulics repair, not to fond of metal repairs or aircraft painting. The Navy is a big family, I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. I've made friends from all over the world and never would've had that chance if it weren't for the Navy.
We have two beautiful children, a Lab that thinks he's a lap dog, and we just rescued Xena from a shelter! She's a lab/bull mastiff mix. Sweetest dog ever! We finished our transfer to Whidbey Island, WA and are settling in nicely.

Military, swimming, I love guns and shoot pretty well actually, and I am very into saving animals. Not like PETA or anything, but I think most of them need a voice, at least the ones I don't eat....=)

Favorite Heroes
All my friends in the Military. They sacrafice a lot for people that don't like them. They do it voluntarily, and most of the time without complaint. They live in tents in the desert, take showers only once a week, watch their friends die, their spouses leave them because they can't handle military life, they miss the birth of their kids, and sometimes the conception, and most of them would do it all again to serve their country. Those are hero's in my eyes.
My mom, she was a single mom and did so much for me. She sacraficed so I could have more. I'm glad she rubbed off on me.

P.S. I just wish that we could provide you kids with a better (more competent) commander in chief.
