However, it isn't the sanitzer that is a problem. The flu as I am sure you know is a virus. The H1N1 virus is not much different from everyday influenza virus. Hand sanitizer's are quite effective in killing bacteria as they destroy cell walls and have an effect on proteins. It is very uncommon that bacteria even become resistant to the alcohol in a sanitizers. Sanitizers however have not been proven effective against viruses. Therefore the use of sanitizers will not create superviruses or even resistant strains of bacteria. Antibiotics however still present an issue which is usually solved just by manipulating the substituents of the chemical composition.
The H1N1 virus spreads quickly, but is not as deadly as one may think. Most of the victims of H1N1 die of other complications. H1N1 should be treated the same as the flu. And the best way to prevent it is washing your hands which continues to be the best way to prevent disease. The hype that the media has put on the H1N1 virus is most certainly overkill. (more) -

I don't know if it means I can cook or not. Whenever I do it, I have no idea what I am doing. It gets even better when I cook with my two best friends. For some reason we can throw the most random stuff together and it comes out delicious. And that is even before everyone gets drunk! Haha j/k! (more)
