Wow; we really do have a lot in common. We share July birthdays. I think we've already communicated our love of creative things, poetry, art and now I checked out your home page and find out you like to roller skate! I'm in your age bracket and in younger days I was a dance skater (roller skating.) In the summer we'd skate at the Jones Beach outdoor rink (under the stars) and in winter at the Mineola Skating Rink ("Home of the Stars") both on L.I. I think it's just great if you are still skating! My friend and I just took up country line dancing. I wasn't much into country music, but now I think it's fun and the dancing is fun as you don't have to have a partner. (We're both widows.)

My son is going to be 38 soon that is mentally ill There is good and bad in all type of races and I have friends all kind Being christian we are on target Put your name to be friends I will accept But politics we are opposite It is policies that I disagree with but you have the right to believe as you wish but on the other things in life we can agree, I am so sorry for your lost of grandson with cancer I lost my nephew at 16 to 2 kinds of cancer it is hard to lose young ones. I am so sory about your son, and I will include im in my prayers; sometimes life just seems so hard, but the scriptures tells us that He'll never forsake us, nor will he leave us. Be strong in your faith and know that others are sincerely praying for you. How old is your son? Don't feel bad about not being able to agree with Pesident Obama's policies. This is the point that I have been trying to make on this format, many of the people are racist, and many are not. It's just like the Black race, some are messed up and some are some beautiful people. There is no perfect race of people, none is perfect except God. When President Bush was in office he made such a mess of things, and President Obama has inherited that mess, he's only been in office for nine months, and people expect for him to have had things straightened out the day after he was sworn in. I am not saying that you have been unfair or nasty, but some of the comments on this format have been rude and just awful. It doesn't pay to beat yourself up, because one thing is for sure, he's the President, and at least for four years he's going to be in the White House. If the Republicans don't get their administration together, they might be faced with another four years of Obama. He never would have won the election if the Caucasian race hadn't rallied and supported him. They are the reason he got in, the Black vote couldn't have done it by themselves. Have you ever watched T.D. Jakes? He is awesome, I lost a 7 year old grandson to a brain tumor, it was a very terrible time for our family, but God brought us through, and He will work in your life also. There's some scripture in Psalms 138 I think, and when I feel down and need the Lord to work expediently in my life, I repeat it to myself over and over again, and it reads, "the Lord will perfect that which concerns me." Tonight before you fall to sleep say a prayer for me, I have a special petition before the Lord, and I am anticipating for him to work wonders in my life in the area of housing and financial adjustment, I'm getting there, but I need his strength, power and stamna to accomplish my goals, I have an appointment tomorrow so pray that all goes well for me. While you're praying for me, I will be praying and pleading the blood of Jesus upon your life, and for your son, and to fill the voids due to your losses, and restore unto you happiness.
