About Me
Hi, my name is Hevs and I am a 38 year old working mother of two, happily living with my fiancee in beautiful Scotland (which is not actually IN England, rather its the north end of the UK, England is the South bit). I work for a well known Broadcasting Company and I love my job. I'm doing a photography course at Uni this year along with studying American History in my spare time hence I spend a lot of time on Sodahead trying to understand the American mindset, which is no easy task I can tell you.

Not a big fan of anything remotely chick like or Harry Potteresque and will only watch when forced to do so and Ferris Bueller's Day Off is quite possible the best film ever made.

I never saw my dad until I was 17 and then we lost touch for a good few years. We are back in touch now and are slowly building a relationship although its not easy as he lived 500 miles away. We drove across country to get our daughter's car out to California for an internship at ABC....I am a Europe snob.....love to travel there....BUT visiting these national parks on the way: Rocky Mtn in Colorado, Pikes Peak in Colorado, Mesa Verde in Utah, Zion and Bryce in Utah....OMG. it was the best vaca. When our daughter grads from univ in 2010 I promised her a mother/daughter trip to Great Britain....hope it comes to pass. I am rattling on....but I am glad you are on my sodahead list.
