I am a housewife and love it. I do quite a bit of volunteering. Am currently working through Read for Literacy to teach adults to read.
My husband and I have one daughter. She is a high school French teacher and is the light of our life. She has fallen in love with a great young man. My life is good.

I used to run. (I've run 3 Marathons) The knees aren't what they used to be. Now I am a walker. I love reading and volunteering.

The Mentalist, American Idol, Castle, 48 Hour Mystery, Antiques Roadshow and any of the "oldies" shown on Nick at Nite. I just recently became hooked on a new show called "The Middle." I think it's absolutely hilarious.

I missed "The Mentalist" this week because I had to speak at an Honors' Banquet. I would have been with you. I'm glad you wrote CBS. Why do these people think we find gory stuff entertaining? I love your greeting. The very same back to you. We just got back from Madison and I'm off to the kitchen to continue baking for our bakes sale tomorrow. I made three pies yesterday and today I'm making some cookies and a chocolate almond cake. I love to bake but alas, we don't need it around here, so I get to do it for special occasions. Our grandsons will be going to their aunt's for the weekend and then we'll have them from Sunday to Tuesday when their folks get home. It continues to be a challenge but they're doing pretty well. Gramps made waffles and bacon for breakfast and they thought that was fantastic.

There ya go making me LOL again....jawbreakers...that got me LMAO!!! Made me think back to the days of childhood when our parents allowed us to put those huge things in our mouths which if swallowed could've resulted in death by suffocation!! I wonder if that ever happened to anybody? I'm the same way about snacks. Chocolate ala Beneful...oh dear! turns my stomach!! Although these don't sound too bad....
